This landmarked LA location on Sunset Boulevard is a modernist work of art commissioned in 1938 to be the CBS Radio Building. The Belasco

The Belasco of Downtown Los Angeles is a 1920’s theater that was resurrected in 2011 after an extensive three-year restoration that preserved its historical charm while adding state-of-the-art sound and lighting. Playing host to everything from award shows and corporate events to weddings and bar/bat mitzvah celebrations, the 40,000 square-foot Belasco has emerged as a multipurpose event and entertainment complex. With an eye toward modern glamour, the space features stained glass windows by the local artisans at Judson Studios and paint and wallpaper in bold colors by Farrow and Ball. The outdoor garden is home to lush landscaping and walls rich with ivy. It’s a stunning raw space with statement-making Italian painted ceilings, crystal chandeliers, bold arched windows, and beautiful marble columns and floors. The Grand Hall combines both the North and South Halls for 26,500 square feet of fully-customizable space.
