Fun with a favorite treat was the theme of this creative party, dreamed up by Little Miss Party event planners. Spring colors set the scene, with varying shapes and sizes of Peeps candies sprinkled throughout. Photographer Raquel Bianca Creative beautifully shot the festivities, which featured pink florals and green grass displays. Guests enjoyed beverages from a vintage lemonade stand and snacked on ice cream sundaes and chocolate bunny pops.
Whimsy and Wonder
This seven-year-old’s magical birthday was full of unicorns and rainbows, thanks to meticulous attention to detail by Shamica and Co. Guests dined on custom-designed cookies, cupcakes and two extraordinary unicorn cakes from The London Baker. The breathtaking dining table was adorned with floral arrangements and the ethereal décor was a perfect compliment to Brik Venue’s dreamy outdoor space.
Vintage Blush
An outdoor garden party set the stage for a breathtaking vintage birthday party theme. Sonia Sharma Events and Revelry Event Designers coordinated on exquisite pink roses and peony displays that played perfectly against the silver table settings. Every good party demands a stand-out dessert table and this one was no exception with scrumptious cupcakes, cake, macarons and tarts all matching the blush decor. The fun was captured by Sanaz Photography.
Pretty in Paris
This lovely little girl’s tea party, created by Wrap It Up Parties, transported delighted guests to a chic Parisian bistro via the charming décor. Roses in varying shades of pink popped against the black-and-white striped tablecloths and curtains. Photographer Erica Baracca captured every little detail of the tasty French-themed treats which included macarons, teacup cookies and pink lemonade outfitted with striped paper straws. An incredible cake with layers of frilly, ombré frosting topped off this amazing event.
Fun with Frankenstein
This Halloween-themed first birthday party was a spook-tacular affair thanks to Instincts Design Studio, Ltd., who took care of the design, décor and photography for this creative event. Tables were decorated with pumpkins adorned with burlap bows and faux (hopefully!) spiders, along with classic trick-or-treat candies and festive ghosts suspended above. Ghoulish cake pops and cupcakes delighted guests and everyone received a hand-crafted caramel apple as a parting gift.
Jurassic Experience
Adventure and excitement were on the menu for this little guy’s 5th birthday party! Miss Motley Photography captured every incredible moment at Chez, including the birthday boy’s grand entrance on a lifelike dinosaur through the custom Jurassic World gate designed by Northern Décor, Inc. Every little explorer received custom straw pith helmets and burlap bags for their goodies at the Nicole Marie Events-styled celebration. Kids could play dinosaur tic-tac-toe or build their own terrarium while they feasted on delightful goodies like cupcakes topped with “dino eggs” and five different dinosaur birthday cakes.
Storybook Soirée
Magic was in the air at this little girl’s lavish Alice in Wonderland-themed party thanks to spot-on planning and décor by Nicole Marie Events. Intricate details, from unique timepieces and florals from Flowers for Dreams to elaborate hats and teacups, created a rich and festive atmosphere evocative of the book’s topsy turvy world. Each special moment was captured by Miss Motley Photography, including treats like the custom Mad Hatter cakes and playing card cookies by Fuze Catering Company.
Monster Bash
The theme of this “monster” party was carried through from the invitations and decor to the food and even the activities, with large monster cutouts for kids to pose with! Ceci Johnson, of Ceci New York, created custom, hand-drawn artwork featuring delightful monsters, including personalized invitation boxes for each guest and a crafting station where guests could create their own silly beasts. Photographer Kristi Drago-Price captured all of the children’s creations and, of course, the ultimate green monster cake.
Out of this World
Guests were treated to an intergalactic adventure during this one-year-old’s birthday, held at a fun, family-friendly restaurant. Wrap It Up Parties took care of planning, design and photography for this event, which included multiple NASA-themed creation stations and rocket ship décor. West Town Bakery provided cake balls, custom space cookies and an incredible fondant cake topped with planets and an astronaut.
Milkshakes and Manicures
Primping and yummy desserts combined to make this little girl’s dream-birthday come true! Picture-perfect pink, monogrammed robes by The Plaid Rabbit were provided to guests who luxuriated in Polish Nail Concierge’s mobile manicure studio. Lele Fain Photography captured the little ladies’ day of beauty, which included treats like milkshakes and giant soft pretzels. Guests enjoyed a lovely cake by My Sweet Dessert to finish the day. Black, white and pink decor was provided by Please Be Seated rentals and AmosEvents floral company.
Unicorn Dreams
Chez provided the perfect open space for Kehoe Designs to expertly execute this pink unicorn-themed birthday party. Hot pink lighting in addition to pastel-colored balloon art and giant gold balloons spelling out the birthday girl’s name helped create the magical paradise. An over-the-top sweets table with strawberry milkshakes, iced cookies, and cupcakes was provided by Entertaining Company. A picture-perfect unicorn cake capped the grand affair.
Where the Wild Things Are
Aubergine Chicago hosted this whimsical birthday party, which featured a theme based off of the classic children’s book, Where the Wild Things Are. An incredible birthday cake from Alliance Bakery spelled out “Thalia’s Wild Rumpus” as a nod to the book and the birthday girl. TK Photography was on hand to capture all of the special birthday moments.
Ready, Set, Go!
Wave the checkered flag, this heart-pumping race car party is a winner! Ceci New York designed custom invitations and NASCAR-themed accessories that included mini orange traffic cones to control the kid chaos and goody bags stuffed with matchbox cars and “all-access” passes for fun. Photographer Kristi Drago-Price caught every moment, including the kiddos’ “box car” race and the thrillingly lifelike car cake by Amy Kolz of Village CakeCraft.
Shark Attack
This fiercely fun birthday bash took on a life of its own, thanks to event planner Wife of the Party. An oversized shark was the perfect prop for photos by ELDT Photo, and a kiddie pool with super-sized wands for giant bubble making provided endless entertainment. Colorful surfboards, fishing bobbers and a shark piñata added to the beachy décor. Desserts completed the theme with cupcakes sporting fins and an ocean blue birthday cake that was cut open to reveal bright red velvet filling.
Let's Flamingle
This on-theme 1st birthday party was a Miami dream. Design Plan Play incorporated flamingos into every element of this celebration, many of which created by Bambini Soiree — from the centerpieces to the pool floats to the cake, and they even brought in live flamingos from Historic Walton House. Infinite Creations captured every memory at this private residence, including one of our favorite elements: a giant balloon installation spelling the birthday girl’s name.
