New York City is known as the “city that never sleeps” and much of that reputation is due to its fabulous parties, including corporate holiday parties. We’ve saved you days of Googling by rounding up our favorite holiday party venues in NYC. From a venue that feels like a coastal escape to the perfect iconic ballroom, we have different spaces for different kinds of celebrations. Use projection mapping to transport guests in one space, or showcase the sprawling views of another venue to highlight the unique NYC experience. Whatever you choose, we have the perfect spot for your holiday celebration on our curated list — organized from north to south.
This ground-level venue’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer a perfect view of the Lincoln Center reflecting pond and Henry Moore’s dramatic sculpture, setting guests firmly in a center for the arts. The custom menus will charm partygoers with the venue’s unique take on classic Italian cuisine and not a single guest will leave before dessert. We appreciate how this corporate celebration stuck to a black and white palette for its décor and left the windows unadorned, allowing the daylight to fill the space.
East Dining Room Capacity: 45 (seated) – 75 (standing)
Full Buy-Out Capacity: 125 (seated) – 175 (standing)
This stunning venue offers an open view with balconies overlooking Lincoln Center plaza. It’s an artistic spot to host a company celebration, with built-in décor elements like unique chandeliers, bright marble accents, lush red carpet, gleaming statues — and a truly captivating gold ceiling studded with tiny star-like lights. We love how this Met Opera wedding added even more red with deep crimson florals. Your guests will enjoy contemporary America cuisine from Chef Richard Diamonte at this truly unique venue.
Capacity: up to 200
The Mandarin Ballroom is one of our favorite ballroom spaces in the entire city. It features iconic oval glittering lighting installations and a sprawling view of the city that is its own kind of décor. Overlooking Central Park and the Manhattan skyline through three 18-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, the 6,000 square-foot space can be used for large celebrations or be divided into up to five more intimate spaces for smaller gatherings, for parties that feature themed rooms, or a progressive celebration with cocktails in one space then dinner and dancing in yet more spaces. We love how this vibrant celebration used vivid colors to transform the space, as well as how this glamorous soirée created a dramatic installation of crystals and florals centered in one of the room’s fabulous chandeliers.
The Mandarin Ballroom Capacity: 500 (seated) – 1,000 (standing)
With 20,000 square-feet of event space, Intercontinental New York Barclay boasts eight gathering spaces and eight break-out rooms, but our favorite is its largest — the Grand Ballroom. The ballroom features chandeliers galore, coffered ceilings, luxe silk wallpaper, and gleaming wood accent walls. It’s the perfect spot for a winter wonderland-themed celebration. Built in 1926, the building is a mix of modern touches and historic glory in the center of Manhattan, steps from Park Avenue, with an events team that consistently draws glowing reviews for its service and cuisine.
Grand Ballroom Capacity: 440 (seated) – 500 (standing)
Attending a concert at Carnegie Hall is one thing, but hosting your event in the iconic spot is next level. This historic music hall boasts six different event spaces, including a rooftop terrace and private dining rooms. Its Weil Music Room features soaring ceilings and a unique catwalk, over the space that’s perfect for speech-making. The space also opens to the Weil Terrace Room for holiday party enjoyment during unseasonably warm winter days. The amazing venue offers views of Central Park and the New York skyline, and its in-house caterer utilizes locally-sourced ingredients to create fresh, tasty cuisine.
Weill Music Room Capacity: 200 (seated) – 200 (standing)
Weill Terrace Room Capacity: 230 (seated) – 300 (standing)
One of our absolute favorite rooftop venues in Manhattan is 620 Loft & Garden, a lush manicured garden oasis above the city. With views of the Radio City Music Hall marquee and the stunning, historic St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the spot offers a true city backdrop for your celebration. Even though it’s a rooftop, that doesn’t mean it’s not fit for a winter party — a portion of the space is tented year-round and even offers the perfect viewing spot of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. We adore how this garden-inspired dinner offered guests tableside luxe fur wraps for added warmth during the seated dinner and how this La Vie En Rose holiday party hosted a sunset celebration on the spot.
Capacity: 120 (seated) – 165 (standing)
The iconic Rainbow Room makes any event special — there’s something sort of magical about being invited to a soirée at the storied spot, which has been hosting glitterati and dignitaries since 1934. The landmark venue sits 65 stories above famed Rockefeller Center and offers four spaces that can be booked separately for more intimate events or all together for a blow-out celebration. Home to countless lavish weddings, glam Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and milestone events, the space boasts flexibility. We like how one company made great use of the space for a speaker followed by an elegant corporate dinner. As if the views weren’t enough, the space also plays host to an ace culinary team that will create a custom menu for your company party.
Capacity: 300 (seated) – 600 (standing)
Pronounced “canvas,” CNVS is an exciting new space that was custom designed to feature state-of-the-art technological enhancements at events. We’re talking projection mapping that allows for complete transformation, as well as amazing branding opportunities. Imagine a party that starts in a forest, with projections of trees all around, then transitions to a sparkling cityscape, all the while working in logos and brand messaging. True to its name, the spot is a blank canvas that can be completely personalized. Additionally, the space features on-site technicians for sound and AV and a kitchen that would wow the savviest of chefs. We love the branding projections at this nonprofit event, as well as the “visual comet” tunnel entrance for The Hot List annual event.
Capacity: 500 (seated) – 800 (standing)
This venue’s tagline “Rooftop. Restaurant. Experiences.” captures the vibe of the beautiful and fun space. At the intersection of Madison Square Garden and NYC’s famed garment district, Versa is perfectly located for a city holiday celebration. The clean, coastal-inspired décor features gray wood walls, an eye-catching tiled bar, plenty of white lounge seating, and driftwood-type tables. Greenery walls and palm print complete the look — for a winter celebration that will feel like an escape to a warmer climate. Utilize the venue’s televisions to display logos, branding videos, or to tie to your party theme. In warmer months, don’t miss out on New York’s largest retractable rooftop at Versa, offering sky and city views at once.
Capacity: up to 800 people
Central Park Zoo’s Central Garden space features a nearly 200-foot-long clear tent that showcases the sky as well as the beautiful, natural surroundings — all while erasing day-of event fear about the weather. The Grinch world premier party transformed the venue into an icy vision with lighting and holiday décor, while this corporate summer party made daytime use of the bright space for unusual performers and lounge spots for gathering. But, unlike most venues, the Central Park Zoo also offers amazing (and educational) entertainment for your guests. From sea lion feedings to watchings snow monkeys frolic, your guests will have a memorable experience.
Central Garden Capacity: 700 (seated) – 2,000 (standing)
Contrary to its summer-sounding name, THE POOL is perfect for a winter holiday celebration. The seafood restaurant is situated in a landmark setting rife with architectural beauty owing to designers Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson. But its setting isn’t the only point of renown — its seafood-centric menu celebrates the fits of the sea with stunning, simple preparations that allow the top-notch ingredients to shine. We love the way this luxurious celebration used uplighting to highlight the gathered window drapery and lavender florals to infuse color to the glam neutral space. Adjacent restaurant, THE GRILL, offers additional flexibility — host cocktails there then meander over to dinner at THE POOL. Buyout options for both spaces are available to accommodate larger holiday parties.
THE POOL Capacity: up to 180 (seated)
THE POOL plus The Lounge: up to 145 (seated)
Buyout of THE POOL and THE GRILL: up to 400 (standing)
This bright spot features wow water views and windows for days. The modern all-white space is the perfect setting for a sleek celebration and also provides a perfect backdrop to fulfill any of your holiday décor dreams. We’ve seen the space transformed with an infusion of hot pink for a glam celebration and with blacklights for a glow-in-the-dark neon party. Your only limit is your imagination. Apella’s 10 private suites offer additional options for breakout meetings that culminate in a large party for a day of new year planning followed by a company celebration.
Capacity: up to 300 (standing)
We love that this amazing venue, located in the heart of Manhattan, offers two distinctly chic celebratory spots: a terrace space and a loft space. No matter the season, the terrace can be utilized due to its retractable roof, and guests can enjoy the city backdrop while staying cozy. Delta Airlines beautifully employed both spaces for their AeroMexico event, decked out in purple and white with a beautiful arch leading guests from the loft to terrace.
Midtown Terrace Capacity: 100 (seated) – 150 (standing)
Midtown Loft Capacity: 180 (seated) – 300 (standing)
Located on the 3rd floor of Chelsea Market, West Edge NYC is perfectly located for a fun corporate celebration. Guests can see the High Line and even the sunset on the Hudson from the spot’s floor-to-ceiling windows. The 10,000 square-foot space can be used in a variety of ways. We love how L’Oréal Paris hung florals from the ceiling and decked the space out in blues, pinks, and purples for its “Galentines” Day celebration and how Target utilized the space for a fashion show dinner when launching Victoria Beckham’s new line. Bonus: the skilled catering team at Creative Edge Parties works with the space to conjure innovative dining experiences.
Capacity: 300 (seated) – 550 (standing)
With six spaces for gathering, Taralucci e Vino Events has the right spot for any type of corporate celebration. The spot’s Third Floor Loft is dotted with wide windows and a chic white palette for bright celebrations. Explore how other companies have used the space for wow celebrations, like this speaker-focused event, or this HBO Latino event. In addition to a beautiful space for gathering, Taralucci e Vino offers delectable, authentic Italian cuisine paired with sips from family-run wineries.
The Third Floor Loft Capacity: 150 (seated) – 250 (standing)
It’s no secret that the “360” in this venue’s title refers to its astounding 360-degree views of NYC. Home to everything from weddings to corporate celebrations, the flexible spot can be decked out to wow your employees or consumers. This HBO cocktail event remade the room for a glam sitdown dinner, while this chic industry night created distinct areas for listening to a speaker, lounging, and dining. The loft-like space features a modern vibe and minimalist décor that’s perfect for a contemporary event. Additionally, an in-house professional chef custom creates unique event menus.
Capacity: 175 (seated) – 720 (standing)
This centrally-located venue boasts an Industrial vibe, owing to its history as a 1920’s printing press building. Its sprawling rooftop offers awesome Hudson River and Manhattan views, but its indoor space is party-perfect too. We love the way this Tribeca wedding made beautiful use of the rooftop for the ceremony then moved the party indoors and amped the contours of the space with cool lighting. For a corporate event, the roof is perfect for cocktails followed by a party or presentation inside. With a dedicated, fully-attended elevator, your guests will feel taken care of from the moment they arrive.
Capacity: 150 (seated) – 720 (standing)
Located in Manhattan’s art and gallery district, The High Line Hotel’s unique architecture and signature style will delight guests. Between the stained glass, sky-high ceilings, and quirky style, this flexible event space is one of our favorites. Dropbox’s holiday party infused The Refectory space with red and green touches, tartan linen, pine trees, reindeer, and gingerbread houses for a festive celebration. The space’s towering arched ceiling is perfect for creative lighting installations, though not much décor is even necessary to make the spot feel like a special treat for your guests.
The Refectory Capacity: up to 225
At ASPIRE at One World Observatory, the events team is skilled at curating memorable corporate events — they play host to big brand names all the time. Virgin Voyages utilized the spot to launch their cruise line; Searchlight Capital hosted a candlelit reception and dinner on the spot; and Roc Nation remade the spot with luxe lounge spaces at their beautiful brunch. Boasting “the most spectacular views in the Western hemisphere” on the 102nd floor of the World Trade Center, this venue offers the ultimate in flexibility with a chic, modern, and neutral palette — perfect for any holiday décor theme you can dream.
Capacity: 250 (seated) – 450 (standing)
It’s a winter treat to dine under the stars — while still staying warm. The towering, glass-walled space of The Palm House offers a luxurious terrarium feel, surrounded by lush gardens and topped by the starry sky itself, it’s perfect for day or night events. We love how this stylish celebration lit the arched beams of the structure for a magical feel. In addition to lush gardens in an urban environment, the space partners with the culinary team at Patina Events who specialize in artistic presentations of delectable cuisine.
The Palm House Capacity: up to 250
Located in Union Square, this loft space boasts 13-foot ceilings, a wall of bright windows, chic white walls, a touch of brick, and a full kitchen. The double studio space is full of character yet can be transformed to fit your imagination. We love how this floral-inspired luncheon decorated with pops of lavender and pink, embracing the natural sunlight and brightness of the space, but we also appreciate how this elegant holiday party kept to a snow-white palette with all-white linen and lighting.
Studio 1 Capacity: 125 (seated) – 175 (standing)
Studio 2 Capacity: 100 (seated) – 150 (standing)
When it comes to blank slates for imaginative décor schemes and innovative themes, J Loft is the absolute best. Within its white walls you can create any holiday vision — this celebration was themed in the spirit of a whimsical garden dinner party, while another royal-inspired party infused the spot with glamour through gold accents and black draping. J Loft’s open floor plan offers additional flexibility in the heart of Brooklyn, with luxe touches like marble floors and a creative lighting system.
Capacity: 180 (seated) – 300 (standing)
Located on the famed Coney Island in Brooklyn, the New York Aquarium offers guests an experience, in addition to a celebration. Take your employees or consumers out of the chill and into another world — the ocean. In the Ocean Wonders: Sharks! space, they’ll be able to sip curated cocktails while surrounded by sharks and colorful coral. A tunnel even allows for full immersion. Meanwhile the Ocean View Room & Deck allows for sunset and firework views.
Ocean View Room & Deck Capacity: 150 (seated) – 300 (standing)
With six spaces for celebratory gathering, the Bronx Zoo offers flexibility and fun. While we love the spaciousness and natural surroundings of the open-air Dancing Crane Pavilion, Schiff Family Great Hall offers a warmer spot for holiday gatherings. The renovated Hall is one of New York’s first green and LEED-certified landmark buildings. The space features dramatic towering ceilings and an adjacent courtyard. And you know a spot is fun when it hosts its own “day out of the office” employee event on-site.
Schiff Family Great Hall Capacity: 250 (seated) – 500 (standing)
Outside of NYC…
At the edge of the Hudson River across from Manhattan in North Bergen perches this bright spot — part restaurant, part event venue (with its 2nd and 3rd floors reserved for private celebrations). Its location and scores of windows make it perfectly positioned to give your guests wow-worthy NYC skyline views. Additionally, the fresh and chic all-white palette of the space is perfect for customization. We adore how the space was transformed into a winter wonderland for this luxe icy celebration, with glowing blue tables and frosted branches. Guests rave about the delectable gourmet Mediterranean menu which features luxe, fun options like seafood towers.
3rd Floor Capacity: 225 (seated) – 250 (standing)
