Blue skies, clouds, and stars galore, Andy Cohen’s celebrity-studded baby shower is taking the internet — and the events industry — by storm. This beautifully-themed event nodded to this year’s highly recognized film featuring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, A Star is Born. It’s no surprise an Andy Cohen celebration is everything pop culture — from the theme, to the guest list of all our favorite Real Housewives and John Mayer. All we can say is “Bravo!” to the event professionals who made this dreamy event come true. We’re sharing all of the details, décor elements, and in true Bravo TV style, the drama.
Andy Cohen celebrated alongside his friends and reality TV stars at the historic Los Angeles restaurant, The Palm Beverly Hills, headed by Bruce Bozzi. Fitting for the anticipation of a baby boy, this iconic LA hotspot is a renovated toy factory in the downtown district of South Park. Andy thanked the Real Housewives “OG’s” Kyle Richards, Vicki Gunvalson, NeNe Leakes, Ramona Singer, and Teresa Giudice as his official hostesses.
We love the trending celestial theme for baby showers, and in true Hollywood fashion, the event planners from Cobalt Events took it to the next level. The star of the show (and of our Instagram feeds) was a wall completely constructed of blue and white florals, centered with a floral star design. Gold custom signage stretched across the florals, reading “A Star is Born”. The entirety of the wall was framed with a cloud-like installation by OC Balloon Bar, with white globe-shaped balloons of all shapes and sizes and gold star shaped garland wrapped throughout the arrangement.
The tables were fit for queens — or in this case, the Real Housewives. Table decor included gorgeous centerpieces of white and blue florals, candlesticks housed in tall glass votives, golden flatware, and sky blue linens. The design team at Eddie Zaratsian Lifestyle and Design tied the entire space together, creating a floating, out-of-this-world environment. Rentals were supplied by Milla Party Rentals and the dreamy glow lighting was created by The Lighter Side.
There were plenty of decadent desserts at the party, including this white and gold 3-tier cake covered in stars, created by Cake and Art. Guests also enjoyed catering by Chef Kai Kani, Sprinkles cupcakes, custom fortune cookies by Fortune Cookie Divas, and chocolates from the Beverly Hills Teuscher. Gold-foiled menus by Creative Works Designs spelled out divine options for the divas in attendance.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a true Real Housewives party without some drama. Guests were spotted across social media dancing on tables to the beats of DJ Cathy Michele, giving toasts over a microphone, posing “for the ‘gram” in a photo booth by Hollywood Photo Booth, and taking selfies galore.
A big congratulations to Andy Cohen! Browse more beautiful baby shower décor here.
