Balloons have grown past their humble beginnings as children’s party staples and have taken over as the chic way to add glamour and fun at every type of event. From balloon-filled baby showers and inspired balloon installations at weddings to decking out milestone events of all kinds, balloons are joining florals on the list of party must-haves.
When a décor element makes the leap from intimate private gatherings to huge corporate events, you know it’s become a bona fide trend. Elaine Frei, founder of Luft Balloons in Chicago, says, “Color is one of the pillars of branding, so when you translate a brand’s colors into a dramatic balloon installation, it personalizes the event in a big, bold way.” She adds, “Typically we encourage clients to focus on a singular, big moment to maximize impact and attention. This is usually in the form of an entrance, a backdrop to the space, or an overhead installation. Essentially we respond to the existing architecture of the space to make something unique that will enhance the experience of the event and the space.”
We’re here to share 20 creative and interesting ways that corporate celebrations have used balloon installations to define their brand, create fun photo ops, conjure grand entrances, and more.
