It may be a new year, but here at PartySlate, we’re still reminiscing over our favorite photographs of 2019. Long after the celebration ends — be it a wedding, corporate event, or social party — the good times live on forever in our photographs.
It’s no surprise to us that some of our favorite event photography hails from the city of Los Angeles. Home to Hollywood, the entertainment industry, and some of the most spectacular scenery on earth, this vibrant city is a hotspot for visually-stunning private events. These 11 event photographers in Los Angeles know this dynamic city inside and out, from where to find the most scenic backdrops to where to catch the best lighting. Most importantly, they know how to capture the perfect celebratory shot — whether it’s an exchange of vows against the sunset or an aerialist performance at a glittering cocktail party.
A lot can happen in a year. At the end of the day, it’s the moments of human connection and celebration that we always continue to cherish. So with that in mind, here’s to a new year — and all of the joyful memories that we plan on bringing with us (including our favorite photographs from 2019).

Still Life with Roses
Some photographs are undeniable works of art. We love how Braedon Photography recreated a modern-day still-life painting with blush roses and mouth-watering dishes. This photograph inspires us to contemplate the joy of quieter moments — as well the artful presentation of tabletop décor.

Love in Full Bloom
Some moments are meant to live on forever. Luckily, Callaway Gable was on hand to capture this stunning processional scene. The depth and movement of this magical shot make us feel like we are right there, surrounded by love and a sky full of petals.

Not a Dry Eye in Sight at This Desert Ceremony
The surrounding desert landscape made an alluring backdrop for this couple’s chic wedding ceremony. Dennis Kwan knew exactly where to stand in order to showcase the mirrored archway, the gorgeous reflections of the nearby mountains, — and most importantly, the loving couple.
When the Moment Strikes
A master photographer knows how important it is to be in the right spot at the right time. Duke Images captured this incredible shot of a bride and groom riding on a elephant for their Baraat processional. We love how it looks like the bride released a flock of birds straight from her palm.
And the Award Goes too . . .
HBO celebrated its 137 Emmy nominations with a larger-than-life Emmy after-party. Gabor Ekecs Photography knew exactly where to stand to catch the perfect lighting for this glamorous shot. We love how the evening’s live entertainment continues to live on — one photograph at a time.

Everything, from the sunset to a strong gust of wind, aligned to make this moment incredibly romantic. Katie Beverly found the perfect angle to photograph the beautiful bride and her picturesque surroundings for a summer dream of an image.
Lights, Camera, Glamour
Next Exit Photography artistically documented this Hollywood-themed cocktail party — complete with aerialists, champagne towers, and plenty of candlelight. We love how glittering lighting and crimson hues heighten the drama of this well-captured daring performance.
Up in the Clouds Where We Belong
Sometimes, a great photograph arrests us in our path. Visuals by Arpit captured this breathtaking, one-in-a-million shot above the clouds. We love how the vibrant sunset pops against the darkened foreground, creating a vibe of cosmic splendor and a meant-to-be feeling.
