Mindy Weiss Planned This Epic, All-Pink Kylie Skin Launch Party

Makeup mogul Kylie Jenner’s latest business endeavor, Kylie Skin, launched this week with yet another epic party planned by Mindy Weiss.
Kylie’s massively successful Kylie Cosmetics set the stage for her career in the beauty industry. A few weeks ago, Kylie announced her newest brand, Kylie Skin, on Instagram, and the brand-new account already has over one million followers. The sleek, all pink-packaged line consists of six products: a face wash, scrub, toner, moisturizer, eye cream, and serum. And we want them all.
As shown by her daughter Stormi’s first birthday party, we know Kylie’s talents don’t stop at makeup and skincare. Kylie — along with all of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters — is known for throwing the most over-the-top, on-theme, and stunning events.
We know it takes the best of the best event professionals to pull off such impressive — and viral-worthy — celebrations. The Kardashians regularly turn to Mindy Weiss of Mindy Weiss Party Consultants to bring their visions — no matter how extravagant — to life. Revelry Event Designers created an all pink paradise with stunning décor which the talented photographers at John and Joseph Photography Inc. captured perfectly (for Kylie’s Instagram.)
The Kylie Skin launch party matched the new skin care line perfectly with all pink everything. Guests entered the minimalist, all pink venue donning pink-only attire. The venue looked like the inside of the product packaging, with clean lines and a modern vibe throughout. Multiple pedestals framing the venue boasted bushels of pink hydrangeas, by Jeff Leatham, which all held oversized versions of the new products. Mirrored tall boys and plush pink seats were spread throughout the space, where guests enjoyed the totally Instagrammable passed hors d’oeuvres and handheld apps.
Mindy Weiss incorporated a Kylie Skin aesthetic throughout all of the branded cuisine, including pink pizza boxes, pink french fry holders, and, our favorite, custom Kylie Skin ramen to-go cups with pink chopsticks, of course. What didn’t Mindy and her team think of? The blush hues even carried over into the sushi, which was wrapped in pink rice, and the ice cream cones were covered in pink glitter. Like at any fabulous party, once guests finished their adorable meals they hit the dance floor. But in true Kylie — and Mindy — fashion, the two took the dancing to the next level with an all pink, disco-themed roller skating rink. Peterson Event Lighting added a club-style glow with pink uplighting and spotlights. All the Kardashian sisters, “momager” Kris, and popular YouTube and Instagram influencers laced up their pink skates and took to the dance floor. The skating rink-dance floor combo also had a skate-up bar, which served pink cocktails by Cocktail Academy and branded coconut milk bottles.
But our most favorite event element had to be the bathroom-style room, covered in pink tiles and illuminated with Kylie Skin neon signage. Guests posed in the incredible photo op: a vintage bathtub filled with pink bubbles.
Endless photo ops and intense FOMO came from the Kylie Skin launch party. But aside from being Instagram experts, the Kardashians know that the true value of building your own brand lies in creating memorable experiences for others, and, hopefully, having the events go viral. If people didn’t know Kylie was launching an entirely new line, they definitely do now.
