Las Vegas Backyard Estate Wedding
Our PartySlate team can’t stop raving about this elegant and joyful backyard wedding planned by our contributor, Andrea Eppolito Events, out of Las Vegas. Held in the bride’s parents’ estate in Las Vegas, no detail was spared as the cherished “backyard” was transformed into one magical event space after another.
On the big day, limousines and buses fetched guests from around the city and delivered them to the home, where they were met with flavored water, fresh fruit skewers, parasols and sunglasses. The bride’s stepfather walked her down the aisle to an eloquent stone landing, where a family friend married the happy couple. As soon as the new husband and wife were pronounced, guests were moved into the house for cocktails, allowing the crew to transform the yard for the reception.
At the reception, tables dressed in textured ivory linens, gold beaded chargers, metallic votives and floral in shades of eggplant and lavender all underneath strung lights. Guests gasped at the sight, which was set to the glittering backdrop of the Las Vegas strip. Dinner was a veritable feast, as guests bounced to and from multiple carving stations, action stations filled with pasta and salads, and a full bar. The bride and groom cut the five-tiered wedding cake that was a masterpiece in itself: roses, a nod to the family’s favorite flower, were hand-painted in a watercolor style, complete with metallic accents. To play into the groom’s notorious sweet tooth, a personalized groom’s cake was presented, giving nod to his extensive sneaker collection.
As guests enjoyed their cake, the yard was transformed for a third time. The crew quickly removed all the tables and chairs, making way for lounge furniture and a dance floor. The couple spent the remainder of the night surrounded by family and friends, dancing to their favorite songs.
