Baby showers sure have come a long way in terms of decor and creativity over the years, and this charming Chicago celebration held at Brique — a new private event space by Boutique Bites — is no exception. The event stemmed from the theme “Little Miss,” an affectionate name the father of the mama-to-be (known as “Miss”) calls his soon-to-be-born daughter. The new mom wanted the shower to be cheerful, bright and approachable without being princess-y or stuffy. Wrap It Up Parties worked with Revel Events to create a bright pink, yellow and orange color palette, complete with cascading greenery and gold modern prisms. Guests sat on white metal chairs around wood farm tables where they enjoyed cuisine and mocktails and cocktails with whimsical names (Baby Bump and Little Miss) created by Boutique Bites. To top it all off, Elysia Root Cakes designed a beautiful watercolor decorated cake.
