Pro Sho Event Services, known for the last three decades as a leading event production company in the Northeast, recently joined forces with Partners in Sound Productions (PISP), Dash of Class Platinum, and The Voto Booth under the management of Merge Event Solutions. The merging of the four groups marks an exciting new chapter for event hosts in the tri-state area and beyond. Now, everything from furniture rentals to entertainment and audio-visual needs are provided for — by one trusted network.

We sat down with Anthony Gerardi, Managing Partner at Merge Event Solutions, to learn more about what the incorporation of Pro Sho into the Merge family means for event hosts.

Tell us about Merge’s companies and how they work together to create memorable events for clients.

Merge Event Solutions is made up of four companies that combine to create a true one-stop shop for clients, no matter what their needs are. Our resumé is second to none, as each of our brands has more than 30 years of experience.

Partners in Sound Productions and Dash of Class Platinum focus more on social events, like milestone birthdays, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, campus events, and weddings. Pro Sho services the corporate sector, tending to audio-visual needs for meetings and events, non-profit galas, and outdoor events like festivals and concerts. Voto Booth caters to all of these sectors to provide photo booths and photo favors for event attendees.

We pride ourselves on the reputation we’ve built by employing a highly experienced staff that always delivers when the pressure is on. All of our team members have two common goals: to treat the customer like family and ensure flawless events.

How will Pro Sho expand on current event offerings now that it is part of Merge?

Pro Sho will continue to serve its current markets but is expanding to other events that exist at the intersection of corporate and social. Now that all of our brands are truly under one umbrella, a master scheduler can pick the best team members to match our clients’ needs and produce a flawless event.

Pro Sho offers full-service production. This includes guidance in planning your event, coordinating logistics, and selecting the right technology to fit your needs — all while making creative, out-of-the-box suggestions to enhance your event. Merge supports event hosts by combining these offerings with those of our other companies, like DJs, emcees, party motivators and greeters, performers, and photo booths. 

How will Pro Sho continue to evolve going forward?

Pro Sho is investing in the latest available technology to offer products and services that will allow us to push the boundaries of production.

What are the benefits of working with a full-service AV/sound production company? 

From the get-go, meetings are more effective and are easier to schedule due to the fact that there are fewer moving parts. On the day of your event, from the initial equipment delivery to the strike, everything is organized in a way that makes logistical sense because the whole crew falls under the Merge umbrella. Everybody’s working together with the goal of maximizing efficiency and not wasting the client’s time or money.

When you work with Merge, all of your event services are coordinated by one production manager, which eliminates the need to juggle multiple vendors that often have a tough time working together due to varying management styles. Since we see the big picture, you can feel confident that your one point of contact can control the majority of services utilized at your event, even if there are last-minute changes. What metro areas will Pro Sho serve going forward?

In addition to the New York tri-state area, Pro Sho is moving all across the East Coast into the Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and North Carolina markets. Our second hub is located in Orlando, Florida and supports shows from Orlando down to Miami.  We are also working with many clients along the West Coast through a long-standing relationship with our sister company located in Los Angeles.
