Trina Merry: Logo Painting & Art

Photo courtesy of Bodypaintings by Trina Merry

Imagine a photo of a vineyard in Tuscany. At second glance, you notice something special: A human painted into the landscape. New York-based Trina Merry creates hyper-real illusions that camouflage subjects into their surroundings in a nearly Op Art style, blending body art with photography. While spectacular for architecture and landscapes, it’s quite brilliant for corporate and social events as entertainment and branding (Merry has painted models into the logo of a company or a celebratory number in the past).

Gastro Garage

Blow torches and industrial-grade bionic face shields attracted enormous crowds to this show-booth at The Special Event, but it was their impossibly tasty bites (like the Rolls Royce Tank: Bernaise foam + garlic poached lobster tail + creme fraiche + caviar) that made them irresistible. This team of fiery chefs will not only entertain, but the food is in a category of its own. Be sure to try the Filly Tank (aged sharp white cheddar foam, torched New York Strip, onion puree and truffle salt) and El Nina Pina (sweet coconut foam, torched pineapple half moons, toasting coconut and caramel).
