The Skating Aratas
This duo brings elegance, romance and wildly spectacular rolling aerobatics to life in this stunning show. Set atop a tiny platform, they skate a dance of strength, trust and unbelievable stunts.
Gentri
Take three handsome tenors, dressed to the nines and add in contemporary and soulful music, and you have Gentri — a stop-you-in-your-tracks group of entertainers. Their rendition of “Just the Way You Are” (a Bruno Mars cover) was perfection.
Well-Strung
This vibrant and charming string quartet (with a modern twist) plays universally recognized classical pieces while singing pop music hits from the likes of Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson and other pop stars for a uniquely engaging experience.
Aerial Drone Show
Aerial drones create visual excitement in choreographed movements as coordinated patterns and shapes are created in mid-air, set to exciting music. The TLC drone show is a dramatic new show experience. Drones can be coordinated with live performers, or other live special effects.
The Chocolate Genius
Known as The Chocolate Genius, Paul Joachim is the world’s only chocolate speed sculptor. As a Food Network Challenge winner, Paul has sculpted everything from a life-size LeBron James to horses to giant track shoes. His incredible speed combined with the artistic beauty of his sculptures sets him apart. A masterful life-size chocolate bust can be completed in as little as 30 minutes, turning his art into high-energy, live entertainment.
Buffet Train
Cirque performers ushered in this custom “Buffet Train” which could be beautifully fashioned by a caterer with everything from canapes to cocktails. Lead by a tricyclist, this “train” offers platforms for cirque gymnasts and actors to perform. It’s an impeccably exciting way to offer passed hors d’oeuvres to party-guests, while entertaining at the same time.
Loliware
These edible cups bring a “green” event to a whole new level. Aside from coming in party-friendly colors and their festive design, they are 100 percent plastic, gluten, gelatin, BPA, and GMO-free. Their flavors – from Yuzu citrus to tart cherry, matcha green tea and vanilla bean – lend themselves to tasty signature drinks, too.
Trina Merry: Logo Painting & Art
Imagine a photo of a vineyard in Tuscany. At second glance, you notice something special: A human painted into the landscape. New York-based Trina Merry creates hyper-real illusions that camouflage subjects into their surroundings in a nearly Op Art style, blending body art with photography. While spectacular for architecture and landscapes, it’s quite brilliant for corporate and social events as entertainment and branding (Merry has painted models into the logo of a company or a celebratory number in the past).
Gastro Garage
Blow torches and industrial-grade bionic face shields attracted enormous crowds to this show-booth at The Special Event, but it was their impossibly tasty bites (like the Rolls Royce Tank: Bernaise foam + garlic poached lobster tail + creme fraiche + caviar) that made them irresistible. This team of fiery chefs will not only entertain, but the food is in a category of its own. Be sure to try the Filly Tank (aged sharp white cheddar foam, torched New York Strip, onion puree and truffle salt) and El Nina Pina (sweet coconut foam, torched pineapple half moons, toasting coconut and caramel).
