Our 9 Favorite Wedding Color Palettes That Aren’t White

What better spot than a rooftop for a wedding that so perfectly captured the rainbow? Conjured from the imagination of the teams at Sonal J. Shah Event Consultants and Design House Decor, this gorgeous wedding infused color everywhere from the seating to the place cards. This special day was filled with an abundance of color for the couple who exchanged their vows at the Hyatt Regency, Jersey City in front of a stunning view of the New York City skyline.

We adore how this wedding infused color through a vibrant lighting scheme. The planners at Carrie Zack Events curated a multi-hued guest experience with each room of the celebration at the Trump National Doral Miami featuring a different color and its own beautiful ambiance. Always Flowers & Events designed captivating white floral centerpieces that provided beautiful contrast in the colorful spaces. And, finally, rainbow confetti fell from the ceiling as guests danced the night away with glowing lightsabers.

A colorful wedding doesn’t need to include all the colors — we love a vivid palette that features a perfect pairing of complementary colors. In fact, the planners at Aliana Events incorporated an ombré of dominant hot pink to deep purple hues. The couple happily tied the knot under an exquisite floral chuppah from Celio’s Design, who provided eye-catching, saturated hues against the all-white tent at The London West Hollywood. This wow-worthy vision from Revelry Event Designers also featured a mirrored aisle that reflected the richly-colored beauty of the design.  

Cocoon Events Management Group went above and beyond to make this Moroccan wedding incredibly enchanting. A waterfall of crystals cascaded over the guest tables and caught the colorful lighting scheme. The mood throughout the celebration shifted as the lighting transitioned from vibrant pinks to dramatic blues at both the Tazi Place and a private villa, both of which were extensively lit and celebration-ready. We also loved the performers’ traditional colorful garb.

We are astonished by the abundance of ravishing floral arrangements at this dazzling wedding. The ballroom at The Breakers was brimming with royal blue, magenta, and bright purple in the form of lighting, florals, and the room’s natural accents. The team at Marcy Blum Associates did an incredible job incorporating these colors for an elegant full-room transformation. We love how these teams collaborated to create a gorgeous vision that was very pretty in pink. Suzanne B. Lowell Lighting Design gave the illusion that the drapes — from the team at Domco — were glowing from within. William Mizuta created the florals to appear as if they were floating above the table as they stemmed from glass vases. A combination of pink hues brightened up the guest seating and created a jubilant vibe in the gorgeous tent provided by Peak Event Rentals.

A Perfect Event planned this wedding at Cafe Brauer in Chicago. It was a vibrant, modern celebration in a traditional architectural space. Hot pink satin seats and charming flowers provided a colorful focal point in the luxe, otherwise neutral space. We are amazed at the multitude of colors flooding the space at this lush wedding. Pigment covered every inch of the elegant ballroom at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. The planners at  Hope Weis Consulting worked hand-in-hand with the décor team at Kehoe Designs and the lighting experts at Frost Chicago to transform the ballroom into a colorful wonderland. The enchanting layers of design grasped the attention of friends and family.

We love the happy pops of color at this wedding at Patina Events at Brooklyn Botanic Garden from Brilliant Event Planning. The team at Denise Fasenello did a tremendous job combining complementary hues into the floral arrangements — creating vibrant bouquets and table décor. The beautiful floral chuppah further brightens the garden setting and provides the perfect focal point for the newlyweds to say “I do”.
