Social media influencers: we follow them, we love them, we know everything about them. There’s a reason the influencer industry has taken off — social media marketing is continuing to explode, providing powerful reach for products, brands, and individuals.
The most notable and loveable influencers often become famous due their willingness to share intimate details of their lives, allowing their followers to get to know them on a more personal level. We at PartySlate love beautiful celebrations and look forward to the major events in these influencers’ lives, so when we see a new ring on our feed, we go digging for the details of these picture-perfect weddings.
We’re taking you behind-the-scenes of your Instagram feed with 9 of our favorite influencer weddings — and sharing the work of the event professionals who helped create their visions.
Whitney Port is a well-known TV personality, designer, and blogger. Her fame stems from starring in both The Hills and The City. She left The Hills of L.A. and headed to Palm Springs, where she wed now-husband and associate producer of her spin-off show The City, Tim Rosenman. The California desert venue, Colony 29, came to life with a tropical, art deco-themed wedding complete with gold, black, and emerald details, lush flora and fauna by Sticks and Stones Floral Design, a delectable menu by Urban Palate, and a stunning red rock backdrop. It was a family affair, as sister Ashley Port is the owner and founder of BK Events, and beautifully planned Whitney’s wedding.

Look familiar? This gorgeous bride is one of our favorite influencers, and one of the most famous models of the moment. Rocky Barnes is known for her gorgeous photos, both personal and professional, as she travels all over the world in the most desirable of wardrobes. Her wedding, planned by BK Events, was no different — we fawned over these absolutely stunning photos by Heather Waraksa, showcasing Rocky’s berry-toned wedding to Matthew Cooper. They said “I do” at the Knickerbocker Country Club in New Jersey, but she incorporated her Cali roots in the florals by Of the Flowers using bold and berry tones mixed with beachy pampas grass.

Internet personalities Ben Soffer and Claudia Oshry Soffer, fused their relationship — but not their Instagram accounts — in New York City last September. They strutted the streets of NYC with their bridal party, which photographer Anthony Vasquez captured flawlessly. The “meme” king and queen said “I do” at the Angel Orensanz Foundation, where gorgeous chandeliers sparkled against magenta mood lighting complemented by jewel-toned florals, including a blue hydrangea-ceilinged chuppah, designed by Birch Event Design. Planner AGI Events ensured a smooth venue transition from ceremony to reception, creating a large dance floor where The Couple with No Jobs danced the night away amongst family and friends. From her blog and flawless feed, to marriage and motherhood, to the launch of her own collection with Nordstrom, it seems Arielle Charnas of Something Navy is always doing something fabulous. Arielle Charnas is one of our favorite style icons and feeds to follow, so we were especially thrilled to get the behind-the-scenes scoop on her heavenly tropical wedding at the Fisher Island Club in Miami. Her all-white wedding was both fresh and luxe, with pops of deep purple florals and manicured greenery by Ocean Flowers Miami. Guests sat amongst lemon trees and white and plum calla lilies, which popped in photos by Brian Marcus of Fred Marcus Studio. Planners from Divine Design by Guerdy made sure every moment was more and more glamorous and the evening came to a spectacular finish with a beautiful fireworks show.

Alexa Mehraban – Eating NYC
Alexa Mehraban, Instagram personality behind Eating NYC, married her husband Daniel Matthews at the Metropolitan Club in Manhattan. Crystal chandeliers and ornate architecture shimmered in the gorgeous red and gold space where Nicolas Messi of Roey Yohai Photography captured all of the glam details. A full time foodie, Alexa made sure to focus on what really matters: a cake that wows. Madison Lee designed a greenery-wrapped, seven-tiered cake adorned with white florals matching the bride’s bouquet and the décor from Ariston Flowers. Alexa and Daniel snuggled up in a photo booth and danced the night away, all with the help of Allen Dalton Entertainment.

We are so thankful Liz Adams shared all of the romantic details of her Chicago wedding and the photos by Tim Tab Studios on her popular fashion-focused blog, Sequins & Stripes. New York fashion guru and famed blogger of Brooklyn Blonde, Helena Glazer, knew her wedding had to be in the city that matters to her the most. She and husband, Keith, selected the industrial venue of 501 Union in Brooklyn. The space is home to an outdoor courtyard, swanky cocktail lounge, and spacious reception hall with modern globe-shaped light fixtures. Helena used white and gold round balloons by BHLDN throughout the space, complementing the modern lighting. Twinkling string lights and illuminated marquee letters of the couple’s initials also added warmth to the space. Guests dined at long tables under the golden lights enjoying a delectable spread by Naturally Delicious.

Dallas lifestyle blogger and fashionista, Bradley Agather Means, is polished, posh, and preppy, all of which was embodied in her wedding to Cole Means. The southern couple hosted their reception at The Dallas Museum of Art, a modern building with a stunning traditional interior, featuring large white pillars, a grand staircase, and a dramatic wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, not to mention, you’re surrounded by thousands of masterpieces. The couple rode to the wedding in style in a picturesque vintage car adorned with greenery and florals. Planner Todd Fiscus of Todd Events made sure to incorporate Bradley’s favorite flowers — pink peonies — just about everywhere, from the petal lined-aisle, to the large round floral arrangements surrounding the reception. The Means danced the night away to the tunes of wedding band Party on the Moon, the couple’s absolute favorite.

Carly Cristman started off as a Youtube beauty and fashion guru, which steered her career towards acting, designing, and writing full-time for her blog. She is known for being a lover of all things metallic — her Instagram feed, wardrobe, and stylish apartment all sparkling with silvers and chromes. She stayed true to her neutral chrome palette while planning her wedding, incorporating decadent white florals and marble-patterned invitations, which coordinated with the three-tiered marble wedding cake. All wedding photos, captured by Sarah Postma, looked fabulous — with gorgeous backgrounds including the rooftop of Chicago’s Wyndham Grand Hotel and glorious Lake Michigan. In a nod to her acting career, Carly and Cody Carson’s wedding was featured in an episode of Say Yes to the Dress.
