On August 29th, the Bay Area’s most celebrated event professionals and tastemakers gathered at The Pearl to officially launch PartySlate San Francisco. The Pearl is an expansive urban space in the heart of hip, mixed, industrial, and residential neighborhood Dogpatch. Soaring ceilings, a versatile palette, and several spaces to choose from make The Pearl a perfect place for a corporate launch event.
Produced by Marilyn Ambra Party Consultants, the event began on the rooftop overlooking a sweeping city view. Guests were warmly greeted and cared for by Pristine Parking as they entered the inspired evening. The celebration boasted a cool, desert chic vibe with hide rugs and woven leather seating from Theoni Collection mixing with beautiful Spanish-inspired linens from La Tavola Fine Linen. It was a cozy scene for guests to mix and mingle on a temperate evening, surrounded by lush floral arrangements by Erica Rose Design and tropical plantscapes from The Plant Library.
As the evening progressed, guests were welcomed into the mezzanine and the open main event raw space adorned in stunning blooms and plantscapes from Calla Hill Floral, Sharla Flock Designs, and The Plant Library. Theoni Collection worked with each of the fabulous designers to make every vignette, cocktail table, and king’s table absolutely perfect and inspiring with bold florals and clean lines in quintessential San Francisco style.
Meanwhile, Got Light beautifully illuminated the space with lighting that hit all the right “spots” and Underwood Letterpress and Hyegraph Invitations & Calligraphy provided whimsical signage that added to the overall elegant and fun aesthetic. Entire Productions’ band, The Party Crashers, welcomed partygoers into the space with their fun vibe and upbeat numbers; they offered an electric performance that kept guests engaged all night.
Paula LeDuc Fine Catering & Events elevated the event with their signature playful and creative style. Their waitstaff shared delectable bites and craft cocktails — including a special gin, grapefruit cordial, and elderflower concoction. The event’s tasty cuisine included fried chicken, wild mushroom toast, a fig, and parmesan tenderloin and galette station and many more delicious bites.
Once guests settled into the main event space, Marilyn Ambra (Marilyn Ambra Party Consultants), Julie Roth Novack (PartySlate), Jon Larner (The Pearl) and Eileen Wagstaffe (Theoni Collection), gathered on stage to kick off our panel discussion. The interesting discussion ranged from defining and maintaining each company’s brand to what’s next on the event scene.
The evening ended with delicious passed sweets and a caffeine boost from Ritual Coffee. Giggle & Riot Funbooths provided an exciting photo opp that made for a fun takeaway for guests. Then, as guests were getting ready to leave, Bloom Tuesday provided a beautiful “bouquets to go” station for guests to design their own bouquet to take with them!

PartySlate’s gathering in San Francisco marks the company’s fifth launch city, joining Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Dallas.
