PartySlate's Urban-French Dallas Launch Party

On October 3, more than 300 top event professionals, tastemakers and press celebrated the launch of PartySlate Dallas in an over-the-top urban-French soiree at chic raw venue Sixty Five Hundred.

PartySlate is the first digital platform for party hosts of all kinds to find inspiration, local venues and event professionals. Whether an elegant wedding, a milestone birthday party, a Mitzvah, or a corporate holiday party, PartySlate helps people find new ideas, the perfect venue and the best local pros.

After successfully launching in Chicago and Los Angeles, PartySlate is now focused on helping leading Dallas venues, planners, decor and floral companies, caterers, and photographers share their portfolios to build their business.

Celebrated Dallas event planner, Jacqueline Hill, of Jacqueline Events & Design, flawlessly spearheaded the event which became an inspiration destination on its own. Guests entered through a flowering dreamland and were greeted by show-stopping flapper-clad tap dancers from Rhythmic Souls Tap Company and big band music by Jordan Kahn Music Company.

The evening kicked off with a pre-event, private “flowerside chat” with celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss, hosted by the one-and-only Dallas lifestyle guru Steve Kemble. Bella Flora of Dallas enhanced the ivory draped-space with oversized lush florals to create an intimate space for the storytelling and in-depth trend discussion, while Bella Acento provided stylish Versailles-style seating for the guests. The guests of honor were preceded by a wedding gown parade with gorgeous, thoughtful designs by Stanley Korshak.

Inside the main event, the Bella Flora team transformed the raw space into a French garden literally dripping with fresh greenery, blooming hydrangeas and romantic arrangements, all expertly highlighted by custom lighting from Absolute Lighting.

The rosé room, which was hedged by pristine boxwood, featured pink up-lighting, dreamy textured linens by La Tavola Fine Linen and a rosé bar, accented by a neon-pink sign encouraging guests to “Stop and Smell The Rosé.”

Vestals Catering and Sourced Craft Cocktails offered guests unique options to eat and drink. Vestals offered everything from strolling bites and sweets to perfectly-composed petite plates of yummies like prime steak frites and housemade savory crepes. Sourced Craft Cocktails delighted guests with a variety of barrel-aged cocktails and craft mixed drinks. Each of the food stations had a unique plate to enhance the presentation, all of which were provided by Top Tier Staffing and Event Rentals. Top Tier also provided the stylish glassware and flatware for the soiree.

Guests were delighted by the glamour and whimsy added by Bravo Entertainment’s towering bird-stilt girls and an oversized wine bicycle ridden by a Marie Antoinette look-alike accompanied by a period-dressed footman.

Party-goers also had the opportunity to get in on the fun themselves, accessorizing with props or clever phrases before striking pose for the Social Light photo set. And for guests who wanted to take photos home with them, PicFlips leveraged CloudSpotter technology to provide both printable and social photos within seconds.

Venue Sixty Five Hundred provided the perfect home for the splashy event to unfold with its endless space, sky-high ceilings and thoughtful venue details like green rooms, gorgeous restrooms and an amazing kitchen!
