When it comes to Bat Mitzvah theming and palettes, the options are endless. Pink is emerging as a hot, on-trend color for events from weddings and milestone birthdays to bridal and baby showers — but is especially fun for Bat Mitzvah celebrations. Whether you’re executing a vibrant, modern party for an adventurous teen or hosting an elegant affair with delicate details, the feminine hue never fails to set the mood for an amazing celebration. From pastel shades of blush to captivating magenta, these 13 pink Bat Mitzvahs are as empowering as they are gorgeous.
This wintery celebration from Carrie Zack Events combined snowy bright white with hues of pink for a cool weather Bat Mitzvah party in the hot town of Miami. The Temple House’s neutral-white interior served as the perfect setting for the gorgeous celebration, offering a neutral backdrop for fuchsia lighting which changed in intensity throughout the event. Guests enjoyed socializing in modern lounge areas cozied into white couches outfitted with sequin and fur pillows before being seated in hot pink and white ghost chairs at tables draped in mixed linens — some with white ruffles and others with pink sequins. Gilded Group Décor continued the color-rich seasonal theming with white tulips, pink roses, and bare winter branches extending upward. Yummy comfort food (which is exactly what you crave in winter) included skewers of chicken and beef, burger sliders, apple hand pies, and housemade snow balls (better for eating than throwing). Suzanne Delawar Studios captured images of fun details like a treats table filled with pink and white yogurt pretzels, Swedish Fish and other color-themed sweets, as well as shelves filled with varied flavors of popcorn displayed in clear vellum containers, adding both décor and deliciousness.
We love the chic combination of hot pink and bright orange at this “R U Ready?” Bat Mitzvah celebration from the planners at Eventure/Debbie Tucker. North Shore Photography beautifully captured the party’s vibrant hues and cool signage, including the giant color-coded seating chart flanking the draped entrance. Guests were seated at tables that were a riot of fun color — some round with orange polka-dot tops and magenta napkins, others square with a hot pink “R” print interspersed with orange dots. The décor pros at Epic Events centered tables with towering round hot pink floral arrangements and candles giving off soft light in high and low holders to set a cozy mood at the party, hosted at Congregation BJBE in Deerfield, Illinois. The dessert table, rather than adhering to the strict color theme, offered all-time childhood favorites like Twinkies, mint chocolate cupcakes, Oreo Rice Krispie treats, and Ho-Ho’s.
While the mood was definitely pink at this New York Bat Mitzvah, the design team at Stonekelly Events made sure to break up the bright hue with rich purples and pops of white. Tables were outfitted in rivers of hot pink linen sprouting blooms in bright colors — magenta, bubble gum, and violet paired with pure white lilies. Urban Art & Design’s event planners ensured that the celebration was all about the Bat Mitzvah girl with her name projected onto screens throughout the room and emblazoned on the dance floor with a custom monogram and beautifully captured by Milestone Images. Lavender uplighting and tabletop candlelight provided a clubby feel at the party, hosted at and catered by Apella, while Joshua’s Balloons created a festive feel with large suspended balloons in varied pink shades in the cocktail area.
This Bat Mitzvah girl conjured all things “love” at her XOXO, pink, and gold-themed celebration. Viper Alley in Lincolnshire, Illinois proved a perfect spot for the féte, with space for her service and the celebration. Guests entered to a room bathed in hot pink uplighting with a focal point metallic wall installation with the celebrant’s name. The décor from HMR designs also included glowing cubes for sitting or dancing emblazoned with the universal symbols for hugs and kisses — XOXO — while giant lip prints made a statement on the wood dance floor. Photographer Romy Modlin beautifully captured the vision from the skilled planners at Designer Event Chicago, including the Hershey’s “kisses” in acrylic boxes as take-home treats for guests and the graphic dessert table which included heart-shaped cupcakes and other themed sweets. When the guests weren’t downing treats or donning light-up gloves, they were dancing to tunes from Monster Entertainment.
This modern-style party perfectly expressed the confident, fun personality of the Bat Mitzvah girl being celebrated. Hot pink was the color of the day but a chic black backdrop made it pop. The design and décor pros at Kleifield Design & Associates, Inc. incorporated fun images from the teen’s pre-party photo shoot from Tell Draper Photography, who beautifully captured her before and during the event. The celebration was hosted in the Deerfield Hyatt in the suburbs of Chicago but carried a stylish city vibe with glowing, attention-getting centerpieces and a custom monogram logo that adorned everything from the tables to the dance floor as well as the cool giveaway hats, long-sleeve tees, and track pants. Day-of coordination from Jackie Chilow Events ensured that everything ran smoothly and that guests had a great time.
The projection mapping skills from United Projection paired with the all-white palette at Miami’s The Temple House made for a creative evolving party with dramatic changing graphics — in this case visions of pink — which served to alter both mood and event tone. Five Star Events planned a five-star worthy party, starting with a projection of a gorgeous forest of pink blooms which grew up to fill the ceiling and surround guests. The projections shifted throughout the party to walls of pink rose blooms, a river sunset filled with pink flamingos, string lights like fireworks, a colorful Times Square, Paris at sunset, a blue galaxy, floating Chinese wish lanterns, and more. Guests virtually traveled the world throughout the evening. Furniture and décor from Event Effects kept it simple and elegant with white lounge areas, clear acrylic dining chairs and pink sequin linens topped with low displays of pink and white blooms. The photographers from Max Gotham and Domino Arts captured the theatrical scene while Rock With U kept guests entertained.
This celebration from Life of the Party combined the classic, but contrasting, colors of blue and pink in a vibrant way at Chicago’s Bryn Mawr Country Club. Kehoe Designs curated a cool custom monogram that adorned a large focal statement wall on the stage, a step-and-repeat photo spot, and the glossy white dance floor. The social media-savvy event provided guests with a custom Snapchat filter and a #ChillinWithDylan hashtag to allow guests to share their fun snaps with each other. Between taking pics and taking their chances at the casino tables, DJ Flow and his dance crew from Flow Entertainment kept the glow-in-the-dark party going with dance floor interaction and activities for all. Moonhouse Productions captured images of the blue and pink party, including the color-themed dessert table. A Giordano’s pizza truck added yet another fun element to this memorable event.
On-point (pun intended) ballet theming created a chic dance-centered event from the planners at Magnolia Bluebird Design & Events. We love the balloon installation and clever signage over the cocktail area deeming it “The Barre” at the Washington DC event, hosted at the Park Hyatt. Amaryllis Inc. used shades of pink to set a chic, playful tone that extended to little details including the napkins, which were tied in criss-crossed ribbon like ballet shoes. Ingenious centerpieces featured towering slim glass vases containing tight bouquets set at attention-getting angles. Appropriately, a marquee sign over the dance floor encouraged or demanded “DANCE.” Sugar fueled the packed dance floor, with a dessert table offering not a drop of the Bat Mitzvah girl’s dreaded chocolate. Instead the endless sweet options included mini cotton candy fluffs, unicorn bars, pink marbled cream puffs, macarons, funfetti cream pies, and more from the catering teams at Fluffness and Buttercream Bakeshop. Imagelink Moving Pictures captured everything from the pink and gold satin and sequin pillows in the ivory-hued lounge areas to the multiple cakes adorned in ombré or ruffles.
The family celebrating this Bat Mitzvah wanted to create a fun, yet grown-up, event. Simply Celebrate worked with Kehoe Designs to realize that vision white incorporating the celebrant’s favorite color — with hot pink uplighting, a chic logo, and lit-from-within tables outfitted with clear, acrylic ghost chairs. Custom table runners from BBJ Linen printed in the logo’s design completed the stylish look. It was the perfect combination of lively sophistication and childhood joy. The expert caterers at Entertaining Company put an adult twist on traditional “kid” appetizers then curated a surprise glowing dessert station, and created illuminated rock candy mocktails with LED ice cubes.
What’s pink, gold, and chic all over? This Bat Mitzvah celebration from Chris Weinberg Events. Even the Bat Mitzvah girl got in on the pink and gold hues with a dress that coordinated with her gorgeous party. Special touches and activities abounded at this fun event from a henna artist and a chocolate fountain to a live frosting dessert station complete with bright red KitchenAid mixers turning out sweet treats. Galaxy Productions created a sparkling scene with gold vases, twinkling lighting, and hot pink uplights. The caterers at Food Art stayed true to their name with beautiful presentations of interesting fare like noodles in chic black bowls with chopsticks poised upward. Between the activities and the eating, guests crowded the dance floor to jump up and down to tunes from Rock With U at the aptly-named Gallery of Amazing Things in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Domino Arts Photography captured every smile and fun dance move.
For Bat Mizvah girl Lexi, the theme of “fabuLex” was creative and personal. The team at Flowers by Special Arrangement acted as both planner and décor curators for the event, carrying the pink and purple motif through lush florals that covered cocktail an dinner tabletops. Projections, balloon signage, and custom printed pint tulle ribbon honored Lexi at the sky-high event in RLounge, which offered birds-eye views of colorful, bustling Times Square. Table place cards mimicked the view with a rendering of the iconic New York skyline. Hot pink uplighting offset white lounge areas which offered guests plenty of spots to socialize. Photographer Mary Spano captured the memorable scene.
Free City, a popular athleisure clothing company, acted as the inspiration for this “Madison City” themed Bat Mitzvah celebration. Branded pillows to showcase the recognizable — but tweaked to represent the party girl — logo added a fun touch to the elegant atmosphere. Jerry Rose Floral & Event Design spared no detail with incredible, lush floral arrangements to complement the pink-hued color palette of the party. Pink roses hanging in clear tube vases added a delicate touch to the impressively decorated space, and tall floral centerpieces added height. The Grove seemed to be the perfect venue for this gorgeous celebration, offering a large, customizable raw space. The space’s crystal chandeliers complemented the colorful decor, and added a luxurious feel to the design.
This Hollywood-inspired Bat Mitzvah featured all-pink décor from the creative experts at Anthony Taccetta Event Design to reflect the girly vibe of the la-la land celebration. The “Haleywood” theme focused on all things Hollywood with details such as “VIP passes” to welcome guests to their tables, as well as star-studded décor placed around the room. The Ritz Carlton, in New York’s Westchester, was transformed into a fun-filled lounge with help from Custom Rentals, who provided white lounge seating. Planner Caroline Bender conjured an unforgettable night filled with lots of spots for partying, including an impressive branded stage which offered guests an opportunity to show off their best dance moves. Smaller details like Haleywood napkins, director chairs, and logoed giveaways added to the fun atmosphere of the event and were captured by Photographer Gustavo Campos. Total Entertainment, a talented team of entertainers, had guests out of their seats and onto the dance floor to celebrate Haley’s special day.
