San Francisco Event Venues for Your Perfect Corporate Party

Photographer: Jim Vetter Photography

The City by the Bay is chock-full of personality, so why settle for a bland venue? We’ve rounded up our favorite San Francisco event venues for your corporate celebrations — from conferences and product launches to company cocktails and curated dinners, these spots don’t just offer a space, but an experience. Many of the venues listed feature multiple spaces for maximum flexibility and all boast party-ready style that’ll be memorable to clients, employees, and investors alike.

Four Seasons San Francisco

Right in the heart of the city, Four Seasons San Francisco provides companies with a lot of options when it comes to entertaining. The 5-star luxury hotel plays host to five different event spaces. While we would love to detail every little luxe touch, we will instead highlight how much we love that the glam Veranda Ballroom opens up onto a lovely terrace. It’s simply gorgeous and offers the best of both worlds — a beautiful ballroom and a lovely outdoor spot with a view. Additionally, the Four Seasons San Francisco’s dedicated staff takes extra care to make hosts feel comfortable and confident. Business that’s also a pleasure? Yes.

The Pearl

The unique space at The Pearl has an aesthetic that’s both natural and industrial, right in the heart of the Dogpatch neighborhood. The raw event venue operates as a fully-customizable event space, providing ample indoor space that boasts soaring ceilings supported by metal beams, as well as a more intimate rooftop with wow views. The spot’s open layout helps planners curate creative corporate events. Create an Instagram photo spot on the roof with the the beautiful bay as a backdrop or flank the tiled tree mural with evergreens for a holiday feel (and pine smell) or palms for a tropical theme. We held our PartySlate San Francisco launch party in the space — check out the amazing desert chic vibe that Marilyn Ambra Party Consultants conjured on the rooftop.

Exposed brick combined with natural light makes Twenty Five Lusk a cool, industrial San Francisco event venue housed within a historic building. The space has been transformed from a 20th century meat-packing plant and smokehouse into an award-winning, modern restaurant and venue, offering creative American cuisine and a variety of spaces — from intimate lounge spots to open dining areas. We especially love this spot as a setting for a launch party or cocktail reception.

Mezzanine SF

We love a themed corporate party, and this spot lends itself to creativity. At Mezzanine SF, the space is just the start. We’ve seen it transformed into a space-age mod party with LED hula hoop girls for a gaming app party and into a crystal-strung industrial palace for a glam dance party. The adaptable venue can also be sectioned off for events that move from room to room with cocktails then dinner then dancing. Full A/V capabilities and a stage make this a great venue for product launches, corporate awards presentations, or entertaining clients. See how Roar Events executed a futuristic theme for an App Annie company party in the space.

Mezzanine Capacity: up to 1,000

The Westin St. Francis Hotel

The Westin St. Francis Hotel

When you’re in a city like San Francisco, sometimes the best part of a venue is the sweeping view. Not so at The Westin St. Francis Hotel — yes, the spot boasts breathtaking views of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, but also hosts 8 glamorous event spaces to choose from. You can have your view and indoor beauty too. The hotel is iconic, easily accessible, and has served as the location for decadent parties for royalty, socialites and business leaders for more than 100 years. One of our favorite corporate events here was a Candy Land-themed hospitality suite. It was every bit as magical as it sounds, but see for yourself.

San Francisco Ferry Building

The San Francisco Ferry Building’s clock tower has been a city icon since the building’s construction in 1898. Elegant and chic only begin to describe the venue which boasts a dramatic full-length skylight, architectural charms galore, and a Grand Hall truly worthy of the name. Arches of mini lights throughout create a festive feel and many businesses have been proud to display their logo in the stunning space for an evening. We loved the pop art corporate party held here that juxtaposed the historical finishes of the building with the vibrant colors of a pop art-themed bar and graphic displays.

The San Francisco Mint has an old-school royal air about it that embodies what every city venue should be: convenient while transporting you to a different world. The space boasts jaw-dropping Classical Greek Revival style, a stunning courtyard open to the sky, and two ornate ballrooms. The options are limitless for your corporate event, but we particularly like how you can have a cocktail reception under the stars followed by a stunning indoor dinner party in a space with updated period details like gaslight chandeliers with modern LEDs that tune to any color.

The Bentley Reserve

The Bentley Reserve

The Bentley Reserve is a stunning historic landmark that offers four event spaces for everything from intimate gatherings to blow-out bashes. Its Banking Hall boasts soaring ceilings, towering columns, and period chandeliers. Not to mention that the stairs leading up to the entrance are perfect for a red carpet event; if the Met Gala wasn’t hosted in New York, we suspect it would be here. The venue is also well-known for hosting extraordinary corporate events. One of our favorites was a western-themed party that contrasted the spot’s elegant lines with leather and wood elements. We also love this yearly spring event that really shows The Bentley’s flexibility — with spaces for lounging, meeting, listening to keynote speakers, and dining.

Located at a former United States Army Post, Fort Mason Center sits on the San Francisco Bay with panoramic water and Golden Gate Bridge views. We love the venue’s Gallery 308 space which features white walls and oversized windows that make the maritime venue feel like a breath of fresh air. Its newly-renovated interior is spacious and loft-like with an open floor plan, state-of-the-art lighting, and optional blackout shades for a customizable event filled with smiles and handshakes.

There’s a place for everything, and we think that The Village is a great place for smaller conferences and hip cocktails. The venue offers three floors of space for celebrating and serves as a willing backdrop for your wildest ideas. One of our favorite events was a gold-inspired corporate event for Coupa, which sported a runway, swanky gold furnishings, metallic-painted models, and the quintessential party favorite — a doughnut wall. It’s also been transformed by companies like Google and Basecamp with theatre-sized, 75-foot seamless projection screens and custom build-outs for conferences. Flexibility is key at this venue.
