Modern and Colorful Wedding

When the bride contacted KIS (cubed) Events, she knew she wanted to throw a one-of-a-kind wedding in Utah. The KIS (cubed) Events team worked closely with the bride and her family on putting together the five-day celebration that brought in roughly 600 guests (and vendors!) from around the world. The design firm Occasions by Shangri-La was instrumental in developing out-of-the-box concepts from a design perspective while keeping in mind the two families backgrounds and the natural beauty of Utah.

Among the five events that took place was the Sangeet/Garba, a very colorful evening welcoming male and female guest as Rajas and Ranis. Special touches included Rajasthani Horses, a sprawling turquoise dance floor, live band and a “market” full of food stalls. The unforgettable reception had a modern and elegant “around the world” theme to celebrate the couple’s love of travel.

This gorgeous wedding, planned by Utzav Creations, was held at the Indianapolis Museum of Art on a beautiful summer’s day. It was a Gujurati wedding, so the bride and groom chose a wooden Ganesha mandap accented by fresh flowers in various warm tones of red, orange and yellow accented by greenery. All the florals were all re-used later for the reception inside the ballroom.
