The couple, who met through mutual friends at Lollapalooza, started the evening off with a cocktail hour with their loved ones before the ceremony, which was conducted by a close friend of the couple. After the short ceremony, they were able to enjoy their 2nd cocktail hour as husband and wife. Brooke and Josh chose a fun, “comfort food”-inspired menu that created a relaxed atmosphere and celebration.
In a popular trend of 2016, they chose a small one-tiered cake to cut for the reception, but opted to have cupcakes from Cupcake Chicago as dessert for all the guests as well! Late night snacks were classic sliders from White Castle and pizza from Piece in Wicker Park. This adorable couple, who also run event planning firm, Goldcoast Productions, definitely know how to throw a memorable bash.
