5 Tent Weddings We Adore

The 200 guests of Leslie and Scott’s garden-themed affair never even noticed the bustling city outside the tented walls of Galleria Marchetti. Remarkably orchestrated by Lauren Knuepfer of LK Events, the evening transported guests to a sophisticated garden dinner party right in the heart of the city. While the rain poured down outside, the couple exchanged vows set to a rustic backdrop of garland, lanterns, and wooden boxes bursting with white floral. Candlelight filled the tent will a comforting glow, adding to the romance of the evening.

Guests made their way into the nuptials of Julie and Will through a meandering garden entryway lit by crystal chandeliers, all within the oh-so-Chicago setting of Northerly Island. Platinum Events crafted an enchanted garden wedding at the notable locale, keeping the couples’ single request top of mind: to create the most incredible “tented event experience” for their guests. Silver touches, antique roses, floating candles, and just the right amount of pale blue brought an indescribable elegance to the affair. Breakout patterns splashed on the ceiling of the tent perfectly complimented the event’s floral design.

On a comfortable summer day, Mike and Bonnie said their “I do’s” in front of 200 guests at a private residence on the shores of Lake Geneva. A family-centered, backyard tented wedding with sophisticated touches was the goal, and was carefully carried out by LOLA Event Productions. Because of the lake’s natural terrain, risers were built for the ceremony so all could see without intrusion, as the couple stood elegantly framed by the backdrop of the lake. Rustic linens, lanterns, and mason jars made this affair evoke a vibe of ease and simplicity, all cozily kept under a tent situated on the estate’s sweeping lawn.

Produced by Bliss Weddings & Events, no detail was overlooked at this opulent country tent wedding, set to the backdrop of the bride’s sprawling horse farm estate. The bride arrived in a vintage carriage as her groom awaited her under the property’s 100 year-old, 40-foot high weeping willow tree. A climate-controlled tent with wood plank floors welcomed guests, and stunned with pop-up escort cards in the shape of peony blossoms, a custom-built rounded-edge dance floor, and a raised restroom parlor. Stripes of navy and white fabric drew the eye upward toward the tent’s canopy, which was dotted with laser-cut custom chandeliers. The essence of Charlie, the couple’s black lab, popped up everywhere, from the wedding invite to the photo booth, right down to signage for the valet.

Birch Design Studio went above and beyond with this gorgeous Northerly Island wedding, which took place beneath a beautiful, spacious tent from PartyTime HDO Productions. This all-white tent wedding, with floral décor by Kehoe Designs, included a dinner catered by Food For Thought and an all-white cake from Deerfield Bakery.
