We’re excited to share the best weddings and parties added to PartySlate over this last year. In 2021, small events made big statements, the term micro weddings entered our vocabulary, and loved ones started to gather again.
We can’t help but look back at 2021 and feel grateful for how far we’ve come. Some finally got to see that grandparent or parent they hadn’t seen in over a year, couples tied the knot after rescheduling their wedding multiple times, and people were able to safely celebrate together.
This year, our content team eagerly gathered to vote on our favorite events submitted to PartySlate throughout 2021. We looked back at the top events of each month — from weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and so much more. This year, we chose our 13 favorite events that highlight everything from décor to entertainment.
Read on to see the 13 best weddings and parties to inspire your 2022. With both intimate and larger gatherings finally possible, we hope to inspire your next celebration.

Where is the best place to get married?
The best place to get married varies from couple to couple. Some couples this year have opted to have their wedding in their backyard, others are taking advantage of being able to travel for a destination wedding, and some choose a venue in their city for convenience.
No matter where you choose to get married, you can use PartySlate’s curated venue directory to find an available event space. Don’t forget to filter by location, amenities, and so much more.
What wedding ideas are trending in 2021?
Last year, the PartySlate team predicted top wedding and event trends for 2021. Mini charcuteries were a 2021 catering trend that we fell in love with. Additionally, baby’s breath stole the spotlight at weddings across the country and was our team’s favorite flower.
As we go into 2022, our team is predicting monochromatic flowers to be a top trend of the year. Also, we are expecting green glassware to take over tablescape décor. View our full list of 2022 wedding trend predictions and follow along to see what we get right.
