Fun & Colorful Train-Themed Children’s Birthday Party

It’s not often that we come across a child’s birthday party that is this colorful, creative and fun, but this train-themed party from PartySlate contributor Lincoln + Lucy is extra special. The mom decided to design the birthday party around her 2-year-old son’s love of trains! She started with a bright palette, incorporated watercolor details and built an amazing boxcar dessert table backdrop. Other fun party elements included custom water colored train invitations from Farm to Fete, a railway birthday logo by Scott Leunter of W35 Designs, a water-colored train cake from the Sweet Side and cookies (from De Colores Cookies y Mas), handmade marshmallows (from Sweet Jumbles), and custom printed party favor bags (from The Party Dialect) for each child. She even created three separate train “stations” for food and drinks: the Filling Station, the Hydration Station and the Libation Station. Both the kids and the adults loved all of the options.
