Venus ET Fleur Co-Founders’ Lavish Miami Wedding Included 150,000 Red Roses, DJ Khaled & More

Romantic, red, and absolutely ravishing is how we’d describe the wedding of Seema Bansal and Sunny Chadha, co-founders of famed luxury floral brand, Venus ET Fleur. It only makes sense that this over-the-top, three-day celebration in Miami was filled with luxe Venus ET Fleur roses, which can last up to a year. However, the photos, videos, and memories from this extravagant celebration are sure to last a lifetime, in full bloom.
This rose-filled, romantic celebration of love began months ago in the city of lights, Paris, France. Sunny staged the perfect proposal overlooking the Eiffel Tower from the Shangri-La Hotel.
After the question — and the champagne! — was popped, the planning began. Seema and Sunny worked with event planner, Jennifer J Events, custom designs by Emily Kathryn Paper, and design team, Design House Décor, to bring this fabulous, floral extravaganza to life.
The romantic weekend kicked off at the ever-sensational Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, where the bride received her traditional henna as a pre-wedding ritual. The traditional Sikh ceremony took place at the Biltmore Hotel, which was transformed into a whimsical wonderland with dramatic draping of all-white linens, a custom gold and white aisle, and a wedding arch, structured completely from light pink and white roses.
The weekend took a striking turn as guests entered into the reception space at the historic Alfred I. duPont building, which had been converted into a 360-degree rose garden — with 150,000 red Venus ET Fleur roses. The staircase entrance was lined with glowing candles, leading guests into a red and gold — and definitely fragrant — utopia. Roses were illuminated by thousands of candles in the space, and ornate golden and red projections shined on every wall.
Just when you thought the décor would go unparalleled, acrobats flew throughout the space, stopping to pour champagne for the starstruck guests, for interactive and wow-worthy entertainment. Flappers donning white dresses sang and danced throughout the night. But the performances didn’t stop there. Musical sensation, DJ Khaled, made a surprise (but not so discreet) entrance, pulling up in a Maybach Landaulet. He performed some of his most popular hits, before wishing the couple the best of luck.
All of these dreamy moments were captured by photographer and videographer, Ronnie Joseph and Blink & Co. Photography. A special thanks to Design House Décor for the exclusive, behind-the-scenes peek into this idyllic weekend — and our biggest congratulations to the very happy newlyweds.
