1209 Creative

I see 1209 Creative as a visual storyteller that uses floral design to enhance the love story our couples wish to tell their guests on their wedding day. I find this job to be really fulfilling, and I consider myself fortunate to be a part of such special occasions. My emphasis and love for floral design hasn't always been the same. It's what I refer to as "my fortunate accident." Many people discover their life's passion or what they are supposed to do in this world at a young age. I can assure you that I was not one of those individuals. I've always considered myself a creative person who expresses herself via writing, but there was a part of me that was looking for something more. I recall being completely enthralled by floral design the first time I saw it. Even though what I make is fleeting art, it's difficult for me to overlook how much I like crafting with flowers. But that was (and continues to be) part of the allure. Flowers are lovely, but the thought that I'm designing for a particular occasion where those arrangements or installations will only be tangibly experienced by those in attendance... never to be seen again until in images or recordings... it's something else entirely. I mean, that's pretty cool to consider, right?
