Pete, the company's creator, noticed a void in the market for audiovisual services, which inspired him to start Advanced A/V. Pete was working as a banquet captain in a hotel when he got a request for a TV and VCR from a group that was conducting a conference at the hotel at the very last minute. When Pete attempted to cover the request, he ran into nothing but resistance since he was confident that he could do a better job on his own. Pete then drove home, where he dusted off his television and videocassette recorder (VCR), and offered it to the customer for use during their meeting. That was in the year 1991, and over the past three decades, we have grown Advanced A/V into what it is today: a sizable audio-visual rental firm that also provides a comprehensive range of production services. We feel that providing excellent service to our customers is of the utmost importance, and as a result, we employ new members for our team based not on their level of technical expertise but on their potential to provide excellent service to our clients.
