Alex Styers is a multi-saxophonist in the Dallas area, specializing in live saxophone performance for a variety of events. Most frequent booking is the Sax & DJ Combo which is an absolute hit at events. We can also customize just about any configuration for your event: -Solo Saxophonist (Great for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and networking events) -Cafe Fusion - Sax/Keyboard Duo w/ option to add additional musicians (also great for cocktail hour and networking type events needing background music) -Live Top40 Dance Band (Extended Play Band) Keeping the Customer Experience at heart, he has been entertaining clients for the past 15+ years. Alex is most frequently requested as a soloist for Wedding Ceremonies and Cocktail Hours, and also works with many other musicians in the area and has shared the stage with some of the biggest and best Top 40 Dance Bands in the metroplex, and national stages with Steve Winwood, Victor Wooten, Kirk Whalum, The Dave Matthews Tribute Band, and others.

- Are you willing to learn new songs that are important to me?
- Absolutely! If I don't know the song, I'll learn it. I do ask that you please give at least 2 weeks lead time for me to ensure I have time to learn your requested song(s).
- What if I already have a DJ? Can I hire you to work with them?
- Certainly! I would ask that you allow me to contact that DJ to ensure that we are both aligned prior to the event with all of the specifics. I have worked with most DFW DJs, but also enjoy working with new people!
- How many musicians and vocalists are in your band?
- Tricky question! I can completely customize entertainment for your event. Whether you need a solo Sax, Sax & Keys, Sax & DJ, a trio, or a full party band, I can handle all of it, and work with some of DFW's top musicians!
- Do you specialize in a certain genre of music?
- I can play in just about any genre, however, my specialty is Top 40 music to keep people dancing! My solo bookings generally consist of Saxophone covers of popular 80's/90's/2000's+ Pop/Rock/Alternative music, with some smooth jazz sprinkled in.
- Can I listen to you perform before hiring you?
- Certainly! I have a weekly Sax/DJ set at Kiss Nightclub in Uptown Dallas on Sundays from 1-4pm. That particular set is more R&B and Hip Hop focused, but rest assured, I can handle just about any style. You can also visit www.DallasSaxophone.com to see where else I am publicly.
