2017 WPPI Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, John Michael Cooper, established in 1986 and still shooting things his own damn way. From high volume Vegas style weddings to extravagant events across the country, JMC first arrived into international attention because of his unconventional approach in conjunction with a dress unfriendly concept of art known as "Trash the Dress". Additionally JMC is the co-conspirator of a pay it forward project known as Roadside Families which has generated the capture of hundreds of photographers and their families since 2008. Dalisa Cooper, with her many years of experience in the publishing and marketing end of the wedding industry, is the business end of altF. Dalisa is also known as the “artist tamer” – keeping JMC focused and somewhat in line to assure success.
