The seed was planted for Andover Flower Farm when Marlene began sharing her garden blossoms with the residents of a senior housing and health services campus for their dining room. Residents were so excited to see new flowers every week and to share elicited memories, that Marlene was fueled to bring more flowers to more people. It seems that flowers make everything better! Presently, Andover Flower Farm sells market bouquets at local farmer's markets but would like to explore collaborating with event planners to provide beautiful, locally-grown specialty cut flowers for corporate events, conventions, parties, funerals, (anything but weddings at this point). Though not certified organically, Andover Flower Farm employs sustainable farming techniques that embrace using only natural methods to prevent pests, promote growth, treat disease and build soil.
