Andrew Weeks Photography is a luxury photography studio where customized service and superior results take precedence. Over the last decade, Andrew has cultivated the art of capturing authentic, timeless photographs of the moments in people’s lives without interfering with the actual experience of those moments. As as a result, Andrew has built an impressive client list that includes Google, Alphabet, Salesforce, YouTube, as well as countless families, groups, and couples through out the world. Andrew offers face-to-face meetings in San Francisco and Chicago, and web consultations for national and international clients. About Andrew: 1) I am like a smiling ninja minus the backflips when it comes to how I photograph a wedding. The goal is to leave the smallest imprint of my presence on my clients day, while capturing the authentic moments that my clients are experiencing. Basically I am really good at lurking around (in a non creepy way) with a camera in my hands. 2) Portraits are crucial to any wedding day coverage, the skill though is not only in capturing beautiful timeless portraits but to do it in a way that the photo portrait sessions do not take over the day. I excel in this. Nothing is worse than when a wedding feels like a photo shoot with a wedding on the side. 3) I am a photographer and shoot many many different subject matters. However, my first true photography love is wedding photography. It is how I learned and fell in love with photography over 20 years ago.I love the idea of my couples sitting at home on their 50th wedding anniversary, surrounded by grandchildren and having my photographs time travel all them back to such a wonderful and important day in all their lives. I like to fancy myself as someone who can give the gift of time travel!

- What different event photography packages do you offer?
- I believe in highly customized service and crafting photography options specifically to fit my clients’ needs. Whether for a small or large gathering, a personal event or a corporate one, I listen to what my clients’ needs are and then tailor a photography package uniquely to suit them.
- How would you describe your event photography style?
- My approach to photography is defined by an unobtrusive, photojournalistic style of capturing authentic moments. My clients should be utterly absorbed in the important moments of their lives, not worried about the documentation of them. That’s my for me to do and I consider it an honor.
- What is your approach to working with clients?
- I want to give my clients the gift of time travel. Creating time machines with my photographs that will bring them back to some of the most important moments of their lives anytime they want to re-visit them. Knowing that my photographs possess that power is my favorite thing about what I do.
- How long have you been a photographer?
- I have been a photographer professionally for 22 years but have always had a knack for taking pictures.
- Are engagement shoots included in any of your packages?
- Yes! Engagement shoots can be included. I customize each package for the couple & encourage engagement shoots.
