About Arrowood Photography & Cinema

Founded in 2000

Arrowood Photography & Cinema is a San Francisco wedding photography and film team led by Tara Arrowood, with cinematographer Martin Meyer. For 26 years, Tara has photographed weddings across San Francisco, Napa, Sonoma, Monterey and Carmel, from City Hall elopements to multi-day Indian and multicultural celebrations. Our approach is documentary. We offer calm guidance when you need it, then step back so the real moments can happen. Photography and cinema are planned together by one team, so the two work as one instead of competing for the same moments. Every gallery is delivered within two weeks. Collections Wedding Photography from $6,950 Wedding Photography & Cinema from $11,500 City Hall & Elopements from $1,900 Engagement & Portrait Sessions from $1,500 Based in San Francisco and available for destination weddings. We love working alongside planners and venue teams, and we'll share galleries for your own marketing.

What is your pricing?: No two weddings are alike, so we customize our pricing just for you. We offer a range of packages starting with $1900 elopements at City Hall and packages with albums for everyone! We also offer video + photo combinations. Our packages begin at $6950 for photo and $11,500 for photo + video combo.
What different event photography packages do you offer?: We offer many tiers of event packages: birthdays, corporate, bar/bat mitzvahs are a few. Pricing begins at $950 (weekdays) and $1500 (weekends) for the first two hours of coverage. Your high-resolution, edited files are included.
Are engagement shoots included in any of your packages?: Yes! They are included in the top packages but can also be added to any package for $950.
How would you describe your event photography style?: No one has ever regretted documenting these special moments, and truthfully, I hear more regret for not doing so more often. Life is short. Memories are sweet. It's that simple. I will capture your celebration from start to finish, including all of the details, people and special moments.
What event photography services do you offer?: 20+ years in business, I've pretty much photographed all types of events, including: Birthdays, Bar Mitzvahs, Bat Mitzvahs, Baptisms, Corporate, Galas, Sports, School Dances, Festivals, Award Ceremonies, Business Launches, Horse Shows, and even Funerals.
