Bree Woolliscroft Photography

I always had a camera in my hands and considered myself a storyteller. During the formative years of my photographic career, when I was 15, I placed a strong emphasis on self-portraiture. I also spent a lot of time learning how to experiment with light and expressing stories via frames. After that, I went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography from Rutgers University and Florida State University. During my time there, I spent hours upon hours in a dark room developing black-and-white film and making adjustments to the way it represented reality in order to make it as accurate as possible. After falling in love with the art, I am now 29 years old and extremely grateful to be able to name my dedication to the craft my life's work. Through photography, I'm able to convey to the outside world how I view and understand the world around me, including space, time, and relationships. However, great images aren't made in a vacuum; it's extremely crucial to the creative process for me to connect with my subjects and clients in order to understand them on a human level. This allows me to create photographs that are more engaging and authentic. In the end, I want to chronicle your narrative in a way that captures the ideal harmony of its natural beauty and the deep emotions it evokes. I get a lot of satisfaction out of directing my couples through this experience in a way that seems natural and makes it possible for us to become fast friends. At the same time, I make sure to cover every aspect of the big day in advance so that you may focus on being present throughout it.
