Before debuting her company, Suzanne had always been the go to person for planning social, charity and community events as well as the hostess for all special occasions. She has the passion, enthusiasm and creativity for organizing the details to produce a special event that is elegant, fun and memorable. With this expertise and hands-on experience as the former Events Coordinator for color & company, a local event florist, Suzanne has had the opportunity to worked directly with high profile companies and many brides and their families. Her knowledge of weddings ranges from the elite in top hotels and venues to a garden party in its natural landscape. Suzanne is accredited by the American Bridal Association as a Certified Wedding Planner. Coupled with her evolving knowledge of the industry, the best resources and vendors along with your ideas, she and her team can assure you of the highest standard of service and memorable results. - How would you describe what sets your services apart from other planners?
- I specialize in creating a truly bespoke wedding and experience for every couple I work with. I'm a boutique wedding planner (so I only take on up to fifteen weddings a year), which allows me to deliver attention to every detail and be available for my clients every step of the way.
- How many staff do you normally have help on the day of the event?
- I have one additional event coordinator with me on the wedding day. If the guest count is over two hundred, I will have two event coordinators with me.
- What is the most challenging part of your job?
- Every wedding has its unique challenges. Sometimes it’s helping my clients navigate family dynamics and figuring out solutions that make everyone feel included, involved, and happy. Other times, it’s keeping couples on track to stay within their budget while still delivering their ideal wedding.
- What do you like most about planning weddings?
- Creating one of the most memorable days of my clients' lives and the largest party they'll ever host is the most special part of my job. Seeing all the work and planning come together on their wedding day and sharing the excitement with them and their families is the best feeling.
- Can you recommend ways to save money without compromising the overall vision?
- Absolutely! One of the easiest ways to save is by considering an off-peak season or a non-Saturday date—venues and vendors often offer better rates during these times. I also work with a trusted list of vendors who cater to a wide range of budgets without compromising quality.
