About Cover Story Entertainment
Founded in 2010
Cover Story Entertainment was founded in 2010 by lead guitarist Chris Troxell, a Boston native and Berklee alum. Since its initial inception, CSE has increased the scope of its entertainment and event offerings, giving clients the convenience of working with just one vendor while also giving them access to our esteemed performers, including multiple bands, DJ’s, photographers, and videographers. Cover Story Entertainment, an nine-year winner of The Knot's Best of Weddings and a ten-year winner of WeddingWire's Couples' Choice Awards, focuses on giving clients a seamless and memorable wedding, corporate event, or private function by relieving them of the stress of planning with multiple vendors and carefully selecting dependable service providers. Attention to detail, while rocking the dance floor is the five star service that Cover Story takes pride in. They have planned and executed hundreds of events for clients such as MIT, American Express, Amazon, Trip Advisor, and Harvard, ranging from large corporate gatherings to weddings of every size. - Can I work with you to customize a playlist?
- Of course! To ensure your event is exactly as you imagine it, we will suggest a playlist of 250+ songs to choose from, where you can select as many preferences or do not plays as you like. You can also choose up to 5 songs not included in our list for the band to learn, AND specify your must plays!
- How many musicians and vocalists are in your band?
- For weddings we recommend a 6 piece band, consisting of 2 vocalists (Male & Female) bass, guitar, piano and drums. This ensures all songs played sound just like the originals, but with a Cover Story flare! For smaller events, the option to downsize to a 4/5 piece band is always available.
- How would you describe your entertaining style?
- Cover Story plays the perfect mix of todays top hits, mixed with classics of the 80's, 90's and 2000's in a seamless high energy flow! You will never be able to get off the dance floor as we rock out on stage and join you in the crowd!
- Is someone available to act as the emcee?
- Yes! All bands have a designated band leader who will act as emcee, work alongside your planner, and guide you through the night! All major dances, events and announcements will be coordinated with your team so you can focus on what's really important!
- How many years have you been in business?
- Cover Story was founded in 2010 by Chris Troxell, and has remained New Englands top wedding band, taking part in thousands of weddings and private events ever since!
