About Daughter of Design

Founded in 2008

Daughter of Design is the designer boutique of event planners, recognized for their downtown approach to classic traditions and, creating current and tasteful designs. Recognized as one of the top planners by numerous publications, Daughter of Design has curated events in New York City, Los Angeles, South Florida, and beyond. Daughter of Design planned the 1st New Year’s Eve wedding in Times Square, 14 Valentine’s Day weddings atop the Empire State Building, and the 2012 Fall Knot Gala. Recent corporate clients include Benefit Cosmetics, One & Only Palmilla, Tatcha, Baccarat, BeautyBlender, Dolce & Gabbana and Birchbox. Daughter of Design is based out of New York City and Miami but produces events in destinations worldwide.

What event planning services do you offer?
We offer full-service and month-of production. We also offer hourly consultation through PLANNIE.
Do you offer day-of wedding coordination?
We offer Month-of which starts 3 months out. It's a little more comprehensive than your standard month-of package but we like to be a bit more thorough! For true day-of staffing please see PLANNIE.
Do I pay vendors directly, or will you handle payment coordination?
All payments and contracts are between the vendor and the client. We will make our recommendations but ultimately the decision is always the clients'.
How many people from your team will be on-site during my event?
Typically we have a team of 3 but it depends on the complexity and if we need to add more.
How many years have you been in business?
Annie has been in the event industry since 2001 and started Daughter of Design in 2008 - so a really long time!
