By saying I shoot film, I am not implying I offer videography services in addition to still photography :) That is an entirely different talent! I'm talking about the old school, load a roll of film into the camera, shoot some pretty images, and send it off to a lab for developing! It truly challenges me as a photographer and allows me to focus on photography as an art form. Film gives a certain aesthetic that I just find absolutely breathtaking! With a somewhat whimsical feel of the great Impressionist artists, film captures light and the way it affects the subjects in the most beautiful way. Portrait sessions are captured 100% on film. Wedding days are a hybrid mixture of film and digital images. I will shoot film as much as I possibly can on the wedding day, depending on the amount and quality of available natural light!
