Founded in 2005
Flowers by Stem is as a full-service floral design company for weddings and events in and around the Chicago area. We believe that flowers inspire beautiful moments. Whether it be a bouquet as unique as you are, or a vibrant centerpiece that captures the essence of your celebration, we love creating innovative, one-of-a-kind experiences through our flowers and love to collaborate with our beautiful couples. Owner/Lead Designer Stephanie Stopka will work with you to deliver your vision using the highest quality flowers available, with a dedication to sustainable design. Flowers by Stem takes an eco-friendly approach to floral design. We do this in a variety of ways, including: - Focusing on local, in-season flowers during the Midwest growing season - Working directly with local sustainable flower farmers - Recycling and composting waste - Communicating all invoices electronically - Passing it on - we coordinate flower donations after events. Many of our flowers enjoy a second life at nursing homes and hospitals around the city. - Stephanie works closely with the Green Wedding Alliance, sitting on its board of directors

- Our minimum of $7,000 for full service weddings. We custom build each and every design plan specifically for that single event, so to get a design plan, reach out and you'll meet with flowers by stem owner Stephanie Stopka, who will work with you to bring your vision to life.

- We only take on 2 events per weekend! This allows us to be fully available for our clients to create beautiful, unforgettable events.
