I never know how to wrap myself up into a nice little paragraph, it’s just not my style. I’m the kind of person that likes lengthy novels, cross-country road trips and spending all day in art museums. I’m a little bit of a goofball (I like to think in a charming way). I’m originally from Kansas but have been a Chicagoan for 11 years now, where I live with my partner in Logan Square. The one secret you should know about me... I never thought I’d be a wedding photographer but it turns out that weddings are my absolute favorite thing to photograph. While getting my degree in Photography at Columbia College Chicago, I dreamed of being able to make the kind of work I wanted and being able to find clients who love the way I tell stories through my camera. I didn’t know that this would be through wedding photography until I shot my first wedding in 2013. I photograph weddings and couples because it’s an honoring challenge to capture those intangible feelings of love. I live for capturing those little romantic moments, those goofy things that only happen in real life and doing so in a way that’s true to my artistic vision, while staying true to you as a couple. Wedding photography for me is a collaboration with you to tell your story. I want you to be relaxed and comfortable on your wedding day because you know that you’re in good hands.
