Gatherings Floral Design

Gatherings Floral Design is led by Barbara Mele, who has been a florist since 2000. She was inspired to floristry as a young child by her grandmother's landscape architecture, her mother's artistic training as a child art psychologist and her father's dedication and hard work to his own business in architecture. The range of her experiences as a florist in New York include mom and pop shops, large corporate events, weddings, private functions, non-profit work, teaching, shop management, and more. Freelancing since 2008 as her family grew, Barbara is proud and excited to now offer all of her services through a beautiful Tudor City storefront.
