About Hit + Run

Founded in 2005

HIT+RUN was founded in Los Angeles in 2005 by Southern California artists Brandy Flower and Michael Crivello. A product of the contagious enthusiasm they had seen from small parties in their homes, HIT+RUN live screenprinting events quickly grew into an exciting world-wide interactive experience at events of all sizes – from intimate bar mitzvahs to massive trade show conventions. HIT+RUN's innovative approach to silkscreening has ignited the public's interest and respect for the vintage art form. Each attendee at a HIT+RUN activation receives a custom item, individually created for them in front of their own eyes. It’s this interactive experience that infuses an emotional element into the action, and attendees walk away with something that goes far beyond just a branded giveaway... they take home a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.

FAQs 5

How would you describe your entertaining style?
HIT+RUN provides live screenprinting, an interactive and immersive creative activity for people of all ages. The process is educational, entertaining and empowering where guests participate in the time-honored art form of screenprinting (also known as silkscreen printing or serigraphy)
How many years have you been in business?
We started HIT+RUN in Los Angeles in November 2005 and are the World's Originators of Live Screenprinting with teams in eight cities across the United States. We have activated tens of thousands of events in five continents across the world and in over 43 of the United States plus Puerto Rico.
How long does it take to make a T-shirt?
The entire process from start to finish is under 1-minute. The guest chooses their item, communicates the design & placement to the printer, the printer screenprints the item by pushing plastisol ink through a mesh screen onto the garment, then dries the ink under a heated flash dryer for 20 seconds
What type of items can you screenprint?
At most events we screenprint live onto cotton T-shirts, but can also create tote bags, posters, pullover & zip hoodies, pajamas & sweatpants, aprons, towels, blankets, denim jeans & jackets, beer koozies & anything flat. We also offer heat press services which can apply transfers & patches to items
What types of events have you activated at?
HIT+RUN has activated at conferences, trade shows, music festivals, concerts, pop-up shops, vip lounges, gift suites, installations, product launches, movie & television premieres, birthday parties, weddings, galas, bar mitzvahs, fundraisers, art openings, plus youth and corporate workshops.
