Pam loves all things beachy, and Rocky wanted an excuse for a great vacation - so, Cancun was the perfect spot to say ‘I do!’. Kate & Company’s Senior Designer, Maureen FitzGibbon, took the vibes of Cancun and infused them directly into the design for Pam + Rocky’s sandy soiree. From the mailed itinerary to the guests, with a map of the resort and a reminder to not forget your sunscreen, to the compass icons on the welcome signage, Two Blue Doors stationery company keep the guests informed with the events of the weekend. A swanky welcome reception greeted the guests with a Champagne toast and a smattering of local fare to dine on. Under each flute, there was a welcome note with the plan for Saturday to keep the guests on schedule!

Pam and Rocky’s ceremony took place in the early evening, overlooking the oceanside. Crisp white chairs and simple mercury lanterns kept the ceremony intimate. Each guests’ program hung on a water bottle, as it was nearly 100 degrees out! A little refreshment was a much appreciated gesture. After exchanging vows, guests were ushered to the rooftop reception at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun. The view was breathtaking, as you had a 360 degree view of the ocean and the downtown Cancun strip. Kate & Company’s design team took Pam’s love of the beach and love of all things sparkly and melded them together through the tented reception space. The gold bubble chargers mimicked the feeling of ocean water, topped with a blush round menu. The modern lounge furniture pieces, with gold accent pillows, gave their guests the perfect place to hang after a long day in the sun. Vanessa Jaimes Floral Design perfectly captured the Cancun feel for the florals with the addition of the driftwood pieces, glass vases, and hanging candles. The mix of billowing drape and linen on the various table shapes with layers of candlelight gave the entire tent a dreamy feel for the evening festivities. The round dance floor, complete with matching decal of Pam and Rocky’s monogram, was a huge hit as the band played late into the evening! Late night cultural touches like a cigar roller and fire dancers kept the guests engaged and entertained until the last minute!
