Lance Nicoll

Lance's path to destination weddings began with professional fine art instruction. His strengths in composition and balance led him to concentrate in fine-art film photography after he began studies in architectural design and mixed media. Lance earned a Master of Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design after completing his undergraduate education. Lance's technique as a wedding photographer is influenced by his experience in editorial photography as well as his fine-art background. Lance's work goes beyond the visible to demonstrate how each wedding and moment was genuinely experienced by connecting moments, locations, textures, emotions, and tiny details. Because every event is different, please include as much information as possible. Knowing when to get out of the way and allow life to happen is sometimes the finest thing a photographer can do. Lance doesn’t have to say anything or give any instructions in any of his shoots. We 100% advise against posing customers in pictures, only stepping in when necessary. The magic is in the naturally occurring moments between you and your loved ones.
