We have captured love in America and outside of America over the past 20 years by photographing weddings in hurricanes and dust storms, on islands and in the desert, at multi-day cultural festivals and 1.5 minute ceremonies on New Year's Eve. While we adore Seattle's urban warehouse and elegant winery wedding venues, we also adore traveling abroad for destination weddings, whether they take place in Mexico or just the San Juan Islands. In addition to photographing some extremely private A-List VIPs (the kind that if we told you, we'd have to kill you), we have led significant commercial advertising sessions that were viewed around the world. We started out by learning the fundamentals of photography on real film in art school, and we've developed along with the digital industry, honing our skill along the way. Every shoot presents a wonderful challenge and something special, for which we are always grateful. The memories that lie beneath the pictures are the fleeting looks, hushed murmurs, and inside jokes. We have a passion for taking rocking shots, are constantly on the go and never take a nap, and explore our surroundings to produce stunning and unique photos. Similar to a photo scavenger hunt, if there ever was one. As soon as the ceremony begins, we like to disappear into the crowd, adopting a more natural and photo-journalistic style, so we can scan the audience and capture not only you but also the people you've chosen to share the day with. We have three skilled artisans working for our boutique photography business. We don't have millions or trillions of clients, and we love text messaging and email way too much. Since everything we do is unique and personalized, we only work with a SMALL number of new couples and portrait customers each year. This allows us to produce heirloom photography that clients will be proud to display in their family's collection.
