About Maneki Neko Prints
Founded in 2020
The name of my shop is inspired by the Japanese legend of the Maneki Neko. The story begins with a traveler making their way past a temple. As they pass, they see a cat sitting outside the temple beckoning for them to come in. The traveler follows the cat into the temple and as soon as they step inside, a powerful storm rolls through. The traveler is so grateful to the cat for guiding them to shelter from the storm that they purchase the temple to be their family temple. The beckoning cat becomes immortalized as the Maneki Neko, a symbol for gratitude and luck. I hope that my art and work will bring luck, gratitude and beauty to your life. All of my work is designed by myself, and printed using traditional screenprinting and risograph methods.

FAQs 4
- How far in advance should I book your services?
- The time will vary based on the quantity and complexity, but I recommend booking my services at least 2 months in advance. Rush services are available at a higher rate, and I can generally complete a project within a month if necessary.
- What is your pricing?
- Pricing varies from project to project! However, I start each project with a $50 deposit and client consultation, where we discuss your vision and agree on a budget to stick to.
- What makes your services unique?
- My invitations are designed by myself, so each is one-of-a kind and personalized. They are then printed, either by hand or risograph, which also allows for unique ink colors, design elements, and texture. Additionally, as each invite is printed individually, each is a unique work of art.
- What form of communication do you prefer?
- Email is my preferred form of communication, and you can reach me at manekinekoprints@gmail.com. I usually respond in 1-2 business days.
