Blaine Kern Jr. founded Mardi Gras Productions in 1986 after spending ten years working for his family's float building company. MGP, which is currently celebrating its 32nd year in business, is proud to produce 350 to 400 events annually while touring both domestically and internationally. We have the largest décor inventory in the south, with over 10,000 props, thousands of feet of drapery in every hue, and hundreds of backdrops in stock. Custom pieces can be made by our artisans to match any event's theme. To exactly match the theme of your event, Mardi Gras Productions has thousands of linens in store in a wide range of textures, colors, patterns, and sizes. Mardi Gras Productions has hundreds of light fixtures, including eye-catching chandeliers, contemporary LEDs, and colored uplights. For events with 20 to 20,000 attendees, our skilled staff creates custom lighting to establish the tone. Our talented staff creates unique floral arrangements for each event. For small-scale weddings, grandiose corporate conventions, and charity galas, we have delivered magnificent floral arrangements and foliage.
