Melissa Davis Designs, an event planning and wedding consulting firm based in South Florida, is owned and operated by Melissa Davis, a Coral Gables native. Melissa's outstanding creative talents and her commitment to her clients has earned her recognition as one of the premiere wedding planners in Florida. Those who work with Melissa and her team, vendors and clients alike, respect their absolute professionalism, warmth, sophistication, and creativity. Melissa specializes in destination weddings from Palm Beach to the Keys, throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Melissa Davis Designs' events resonate beautiful aesthetic designs, laughter & family, and wonderful fun-filled moments. Melissa loves living in South Florida. Her interests include Modern Art, floral & succulents design, gardening, entertaining (of course!) and days at the beach with her family. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Art History at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. Melissa worked as a television commercial producer in New York City for seven years before returning to her South Florida roots. She was delighted to have the opportunity to bring her business and creative talents back to Miami when she gained ownership of her family's twenty-year old endeavor; The Sweet Treat Emporium, a gourmet gift boutique and chocolatier. In 1997, Melissa sold Sweet Treat to launch a full-service event production and wedding planning company.
