Seeing Chris Norton play is a once-in-a-lifetime event. With his unique voice and skilled rendition of jazz standards, this dynamic vocalist, trumpeter, and band leader has the remarkable ability to leave audiences floating on a cloud while simultaneously thrilling guests with pop, R&B songs, rock oldies, and heartfelt ballads. Chris gives his all with every note played and song sung, whether he's entertaining celebrities during New York Fashion Week, playing for philanthropists at the amfAR gala, thrilling sports executives and football fans during official NFL Super Bowl events, or performing for heads of state (including former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton), leaving each client satisfied every time. Chris began playing the trumpet as a child in Jacksonville, Florida, influenced by the mesmerizing jazz stylings of Louis Armstrong and Miles Davis. He discovered his voice – literally – as his craft progressed. In his live performances, the instrumentalist developed into a great vocalist, singing and playing trumpet. Chris opted to take his abilities to the entertainment capital of the world, New York City, after mastering both crafts. Chris has booked performances for luxury companies and Fortune 500 clients across the United States and abroad, from Porsche to Hermes, L'Oreal to Microsoft. Chris and his band have recently performed at VIP events ranging from Jane Fonda's 80th birthday celebration to the 2017 Golden Globes party hosted by Esquire Magazine. Chris, a real global citizen, has traveled to various nations during his distinguished, multi-decade career. While Chris enjoys sharing his musical abilities throughout the world, he is most proud of the work he's done in his home state, where he recently composed original music for two award-winning tourist commercials for Visit St. Petersburg/Clearwater.
