Hi. I'm Natalie. Photographer. Dreamer. Style Enthusiast. I always knew I wanted to live a creative life. One that would take me on new adventures, to faraway places, and always keep me on my toes. A life that would connect me with like-minded people, those who valued the experience as much as the final destination. Those who know there is beauty in the details. Although this was the plan all along, I never expected to find my self for one - photographing weddings, and two - so deeply in love with this work. In college I studied photography, focusing on the fashion photography greats like Mario Testino, Annie Leibovitz and Patrick Demarchelier. After college I worked as a freelance photographer and assistant, and eventually took a job as a full time product photographer in Chicago. While working in the studio, I was asked to photograph a wedding and what was a serendipitous opportunity turned into a deep, everlasting love affair. In 2013 I left that job to pursue weddings full time and it has been a beautiful ride documenting love stories ever since. To me, wedding photography is all my loves in one. I love getting to know each couple’s love story, photographing the formal portraits and those little candid moments unfolding without prompting throughout the day. As a former product photographer, it should come as no surprise that I love photographing the details - the bride’s shoes, the groom’s monogrammed cufflinks, the layers of lush detail in each place setting ... all those little touches that make a wedding day unique. I’m inspired by the effortless connection between two people in love -- the little glances, the inside jokes, the way two people in love naturally gravitate towards each other. Every couple different from the next, each love story unique.
