Sandra Wong

Sandra Wong's life path began in upstate New York, where she first showed signs of a profound love for music. At the age of seven, she started taking violin lessons with the goal of becoming a concert violinist. For fifteen years, this was her exclusive area of attention. However, when she found fiddling, everything in her musical universe changed. Since that time, Sandra's focus on her music has changed from an isolated pursuit of technical excellence to one that emphasizes using music to link other people and cultures in order to foster community and reflect our shared humanity. As a solo performer and in association with diverse bands, Sandra has completed domestic and international tours. She has participated in a lot of concerts and festivals. Sandra has contributed to several of her contemporary artists' work. On request, a complete discography is given. Education and encouraging a strong appreciation of music and the arts in both youngsters and adults are significant aspects of Sandra's work. She gives private lessons, teaches in groups and workshops, and performs at family-friendly and kid-friendly performances. Sandra also organizes and personally oversees musical study tours to other nations that take visitors deep within each nation's traditional cultures through its music and dance. Sandra donates a portion of the money she makes from CD sales and concert admissions to charitable organizations that promote environmental sustainability. Sandra also contributes to a wide range of other nonprofits.
