OWNERS OF HENRY CROWDER When I was growing up in rural Virginia, I was fortunate enough to be raised by two parents who were passionate about and appreciated good food. In the D.C. metropolitan area, my mother Sharon worked as a chef at both the Red Fox Inn and the Ashby Inn before transitioning into a food critic for the Washington Times. Not only did she teach me how to use a variety of culinary techniques, but she also taught me how to truly enjoy the process of preparing home-cooked meals. Although I was attending the University of Virginia, I worked as General Manager at Reno's Roadhouse, where I gained a better understanding of the food service industry as well as business operations while still in school. Soon after receiving my Bachelor's of Business Administration, I began working as an outside sales representative for To Your Taste Catering, where I eventually rose to the position of Chief Operations Officer, where I was instrumental in helping the company increase sales while simultaneously improving operational efficiency. Surefire Catering is the culmination of this journey, and it continues to rekindle my passion for bringing exceptional food to others through its operations. With out the love and support of my wife, daughter, and extended family, I would not have been able to realize my dream of owning and developing this company. Although I am confident in my ability to lead Surefire Catering, I will continue to rely on the lessons and experiences that have brought me this far. It's important to remember that this isn't a dress rehearsal, so don't hold back your excitement or your appetite. Chef de cuisine, Mike Feinberg I've had 35 years of experience in the industry, and my passion for creating sumptuous and notable cuisine in the Washington, DC metropolitan area continues to grow. I've catered two presidential inaugurations and multiple White House functions, numerous fundraisers and benefits with well-known stars such as Michael Jackson and national sports stars, dozens of functions for up to 3,000 guests at national museums and landmarks, and countless wedding receptions ran by celebrities such as Michael Jackson. On the days when I'm not in the kitchen, I enjoy spending time with my wife and family, which includes two grandchildren, and taking time to go fishing in peace and quiet.
