Swoon Events is an event planner based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The whole thing began when... HELLO! Hello, everyone. My name is Mikayla and I run a small business in Midwestern Iowa. I am also the owner, stylist, and buyer for the company. The SWOON project is something that I started as a side project in 2018 with a few vases and miscellaneous pieces, and now we're doing it as a full-time job. Discovering new items to add to our inventory as well as assisting you in making your vision for your special event come to life are two of my favorite things to do. WHEN I AM NOT SETTING UP AN EVENT, ORGANIZING OUR SHOWROOM, OR BEHIND MY COMPUTER, YOU WILL FIND ME WORKING FULL TIME AT A LOCAL TRUCKING COMPANY (YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT), SCROLLING INSTA, OR HELPING MY HUSBAND AROUND THE FARM. our rental procedure... 1 It's as simple as that... We recommend that you begin by creating a list of all of the items you will require to complete your special event. Check out our pricing tab, as well as our collection tab, to get a quick overview of what we have available. We also recommend that you take a look at our snapshots tab. We make every effort to upload new photos from events and weddings on a regular basis! Take a look at some of our décor items in action. 2 Please feel free to send us a list of your requirements. Once you've submitted your wish list, we'll send you an email with a custom quote - just so you know where you stand in the process! We will go over the contract and make the necessary arrangements for your rentals. This is our 'contactless' method of renting out properties. In the event that you would like to come in and see our inventory in person, please contact us via email or phone to arrange a consultation. We have a small showroom in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, where we sell our products. We are currently only available by appointment on most afternoons and evenings, as well as on weekends (when we are not hosting an event). 3 It is simple to pick up! The pick-up and drop-off times for your event on Saturday are from Thursday after 5pm until Tuesday at 5pm. If your event is on Saturday, you can pick up your items starting Thursday after 5pm and drop them off anytime before Tuesday at 5pm. If your event takes place on a different day, we will work out a pick-up and drop-off time that is convenient for both of us! We also provide delivery and set-up services upon request. These will relieve you of stress, and styling your special day is something we enjoy doing! Who wouldn't want something like that?
